I understand the logic behind trying to get games played but this all feels very rushed and poorly thought out. I would imagine Storm will miss out on what is usually a decent travelling contingent from Nottingham as a result.
Usually I would go to this game, it’s the closest rink to me but having watched Boxing Day’s non-performance I’m not going. I’ll go back to my old boys thread and remember better times 😂

Manchester have lost Sheffield so they’ve thought who’s going to give us the next biggest payday....ah yes Panthers will,so we’ll mess their fans about and have them instead. Panthers management don’t care about their fans either so they were happy to reschedule without a second thought for their fans. That’s it in a nutshell !

I dont have a problem at all with teams jumping in at short notice. Not great for travelling fans but in current circumstances I can see why. The problem here is cancelling a fixture that has no other reason to cancel. Any top level sport in this country with any real scrutiny wouldn't get away with it.
Hoping Coventry are reasonable and I get a refund for my tickets from the cancelled November game they've now rearanged for a Wednesday. That was a Saturday I was going to take my kids(8&9) to. Now it's a Wednesday it's a no go.

Doherty got a mention on Twitter, missing again tonight as a "precaution".

Don’t mention anything if you can people. Then slip in something later maybe. No one will ask hopefully. Not like anyone would have worried about him missing off the game sheet, those fans don’t know anything. Anything interesting like something to sell we can wedge into the news? 0-1 down near end of first.

Wallace, Gromit and a small rink budget, it’s hardly surprising surly?

Have we lost yet?
I wish the game thingies on EIHL website had some indication of current game time on them, have to wait for the opposition to score again to know how much longer we've got til we've lost.

Manchester playing much better than last night Maybe the league could allow us to pick our opponents on the morning of every game? Give us a chance?

I can just hear Dan Kerry now.... “Well Tim the beauty of this league is you’ve got a quick chance to put things right on Monday night”. And Wednesday and Saturday ! 🤣🤣🙄🙈
