All I wanted out of the weekend was no injuries, the league is what's important. You didn't want to win it? The league is important, but it doesn't have to be mutually exclusive to everything else. If they'd got injured at a testimonial game or something I could understand the issue, but the CC is very much worth winning.

As far as Europe goes I think things have changed significantly in recent years. 5+ years ago more people would say it was a jolly and a destraction from the league than those that were all for it.
Back then though it was just the CC, we as a league had teams who entered, did very little and it appeared to do nothing more than derail domestic seasons. All that changed though and probably with the induction of the CHL. Either European competition is a way to get the EIHL on the map and help the league grow. Both our CHL campaings and the CC win have been great for us and now its something we should be trying to do again, and improve on in the case of the Chl. I would still place the league and playoffs above a Continental Cup win, but Id probably now have that over a challenge cup. Perhaps though, if we want to be competing on all fronts we should have 1 or 2 more players on the books.

I'm with Baggy, league and playoffs are "more" important.

To me, the order of most important is as follows:
1. League (winners qualify for CHL) 2. Conti Cup (winners qualify for CHL) 3. Play offs 4. Challenge Cup
