A one goal deficit = trouble? Or are you implying something else?

A one goal deficit = trouble? Or are you implying something else? It seems like they are on a bad run of results. I know they've run some games here and there, but it doesn't seem to be the Belfast we know

And in other news... Belfast, having lost the 1st leg of their CC QF vs Cardiff 1-0, tonight also failed to score and lost 4-0 in the second leg. 120 minutes, no goals. Oh dearie dearie me...

They do seem to score loads or none. But yes, not scoring at all in a 2 legged tie is all kinds of ouch.

However, they had one forward only just signed, and tow other players fairly new to the team who perhaps don't get the Challenge Cup.

Robert Dowd had a brutal board impact last night and is still in hospital with a dislocated shoulder and a damaged AC joint, which may well mean the end of his season and missing out on the Worlds. Massive blow for GB. I know Sheffield have had it almost farcically bad with injuries this year but this sort of thing happening to one of the best Brits to lace them up brings home the human side of it all.
Here’s hoping he has a nice Christmas and a speedy recovery.

What a way for the Belfast Giants to close out 2019... losing 3-6 AT HOME to bottom-of-the-table Dundee Stars! I think that calls for another drink... cheers!

Looks like the Yorks are in the final of the CC, 5-1 win away from home in the first leg against Glasgow.

Watch them do us over tonight... It's like you're in my head... One hopes not. A fuss free clinical 4-1 win would do me nicely.

Have our minds gone to that dirty place of wanting Steelers to win on Saturday? Cardiff need drop more points than Sheffield at this point. Although im not sure if it still may be better for Sheffield lose as their form is so good and hope to make the points back on Cardiff another way.

I’d rather see Sheffield lose on Saturday, as it could add more pressure to their game against Belfast on Sunday. Plus, Sheffield and Cardiff have to play each other two more times after this Saturday. As long as the games don’t go to OT I’ll be happy.

A 5 4 regulation win for the Steelers. The most important part being that it was a regulation result. Mathmatically it was the best result for us too. Just dont like Steelers form.

My mind was in that filthy place, and it has come to pass. Level on games with the Devils, 2 in hand on the Giants and 4 on the Steelers. Hopefully Giants can turn over the Steelers Sunday and reel them in. Next 11 days are massive: 1x Devils in the League 2x Devils in the cup Awkward games away to Fife and Home to Guildford. Could be well in the hunt and on the way to a Cup final, or season over. High stakes stuff!

This Steelers team at 100% is the best in the league for me. They have serious firepower.
