I think once we scored last night Rich set us up not to concede, we weren’t taking risks, defence man weren’t joining the rush and pinching, we were making quick shift changes and ultimately we didn’t create that many chances. We did play desperate last night when Steelers were putting pressure on, players where’s puting there bodies in the line, it was just unlucky that the same line had been out for at least 60 secs blocking shots and battling, they were dead on their feet. Then the momentum turned at that point. We played too conservative last night imo, we needed to put them to the sword early on and put the pressure on them, I understand why Rich set us up like that considering previous away games but there needs to be a balance. Last night I thought Garnett was outstanding and, when he got ice time, Tetlow played well. He’s looking much more composed on the puck now which is great to see and is strength on the boards is brilliant. Mmmm well if our coach settled on setting us up not to concede for the remaining 57 minutes then I’d venture he needs some new tactics ! 🤔🙄 I just think we got the balance wrong last night, he’s obviously got it in his mind that we’ve conceded heavily in 4 of our 5 away games so we played conservative. It doesn’t help though when we get two breakaways that we do nothing with and we refuse to shoot on the powerplay...

Our Brits need to step it up big time, because the points production coming from Farmer,Lacho and Betteridge is crap !

Can you actually se him here for a 2nd year? He’s signed most of the players to two years (means nothing really) when he’s only on a one year deal. Finish lower than last year and can’t see NB extending.

OK only FIVE messages from club twitter....( we are underway, we score, who scores, 10 mins gone and 0-1 after first) I'm not so tech but hey , so any other option here tonight for news? Tbh there wasn't a lot to tweet about. The clubs updates may generally not be up to scratch, but last night it was just about right inline with the action. As in not a lot. The person doing the tweets probably fell asleep. Then woke up an hour later. In that time they missed absoloutly nothing.

But according to the Steelers it was high octane, fast paced all action, the Steelers had the majority of possession and had us penned in our own end for long periods. The near 7000 crowd reacted and really got behind their team. 🤣🤔

That's odd. Teams are usually so honest about how poor the product is at times...

Ah well, as long as all those going in Halloween fancy dress have a great time this afternoon and most importantly, keep spending, everything is rosy at Panthers. 0.500 hockey, actually not currently even that. This club’s priorities stink.

The club’s priority should be addressing our abysmal away form, I don’t think it is. The reference to Halloween is some fans seem more interested in dressing up than on ice performances. Both situations are typical of the Panthers. Clear enough, or are you just grinding an axe?

It was by far the lowest crowd I have seen there this year. The car parks were only half full too and I was on the M1 in about 5 minutes instead of queuing for half an hour just to get out.

This may be an unpopular opinion based on how tonight has gone, but I actually thought Lepine had his best game since returning last night. Physical and no-nonsense.
