OK only FIVE messages from club twitter....( we are underway, we score, who scores, 10 mins gone and 0-1 after first) I'm not so tech but hey , so any other option here tonight for news? Steelers official Twitter is much quicker and more informative. I think Calum must be having his tea ! 🙄

Good snipe from Pitcher cutting in off right wing and firing in far corner. Steelers had most of the possession but did not create many clear cut chances. Team defence is playing well at the moment.

Don’t thinks it’s Calum that does the updates anymore, Steelers Official are pretty good and we have someone on twitter doing a good job @pmw_77 obviously from Steelers it sounds like they have the majority of the play but at least we didn’t concede a shedload of goals in that 2nd period. Hopefully we can hang in there.

No surprise, sure we’ll get pumped tomorrow by a short benched giants side.

Not being able to put away these bottom feeder teams still remains a problem even this season...

Nottingham need to make a mark here as to how the season is to go.Sheffield squeezed a win versus Manchester we don't need to give them a chance to pick up form.Whatever we think ladies/gentlemen.........we didn't take them as thought/needed...thus we herald the start of a Steelers comeback (?) , with love from Nottingham. As Cardiff lose tonight as well.

Since Oct 6, our road form has been abysmal and the biggest problem is lack of goals. You won’t win just scoring once in regulation as has been the case in MK, Belfast, Dundee and now Sheffield. These so called power forwards Chernomaz signed just aren’t up to it and we’re too reliant on Pither and Guptil. Heaven help us if they get injured.

Utter rubbish. This team is looking very average. Everyone has been putting the Steelers away but unsurprisingly we don't.

As Cardiff lose tonight as well. Sadly only in the cup. Still, they might get used to it...

This is what happens when you purchase a team of giants. No legs & no stamina.

I think the fitness of the team is a huge problem, when they came out at the start of the second certain players were already hunched over as if there had been no intermission. That was very irresponsible from Pither and Kovacs in OT, they mess about, lose the puck and put in a half hearted back check. Farmer didn’t cover himself in glory tonight either two breakaways and he did nothing with either.
Why wasn’t Bolduc playing tonight either? From the terrible weekend we’ve just had he looked decent, so why not play him both games and rest someone else, bearing in mind we’ve been struggling to score away from home and half of them look knackered. When Rheault and Bolduc are back in the side we will be much better, I think some players may need to up their game as well.
A point isn’t the end of the world but this team needs to get it together.

Presumably because of all the penalty shot goals? That shouldn’t happen though.

Presumably because of all the penalty shot goals? That shouldn’t happen though. Changed to 2-3 now but needs rid of scoring summery 9 goals in period 4...... Question...if OT period 4 and PS not period 5 Whatever, it shows as OT1 win but is it? I can never understand these when they are correct.

We spoke to a couple of the guys a few weeks ago admittedly but they said the training was killing them, they’re on the ice twice a day and then in the gym in between , now maybe that’s just getting match fit from the start of the season but your right they look dead on their feet sometimes. Wait till those at Uni start missing training aswell.

According to EIHL game summary we only had 20 shots on Whistle, of which only 3 in the 3rd. Sounds like it was a dull game with not too much effort from the panthers. So glad I didn’t go. I quite liked Chermo’s approach and his honest interviews in the beginning but they are wearing a little thin now... with his comments on “work to be done” cos we don’t seem to be putting it into practice on game night.
