I said when Blaze released him to sign him...I'm happy. He doesn't need to be our top guy he just needs to take some of the slack off he top lines. Lacho playing centre wasn't ideal

Agree entirely Tom.
See my first post in the thread. Keep him off the top line & he's a decent player.

You lot are all 2 faced most have called him black & blue all year, personally never very happy with this move. Hope it's not a long deal. Well he has a chance to prove himself now I guess to far superior players than he had around him last year. A lot less pressure and three games this weekend to see.

Forum Gold - A bit of an understatement - since day one some people have been complaining that we are short benched - we now have a full quota, admittedly a couple are injured so we now have a fill-in - we all know that on his day he is a top player etc. etc. etc. - it may be that he will have enough of a chip on his shoulder to do a good job for us, especially against Squeelers (Christmas may be fun) - if when everyone is fit he is kept on as a healthy scratch then that will be fine by me, and may enable Cory to rest players occasionally - he knows where the net is, just forgets the puck now and then.

If my maths are right, he wouldn't need to be a scratch - I could be wrong but isn't he our 13th import?

I'd take Lawrence over Hardy & move Mosey back on D.

Moran out for upto and maybe even more than a month, no Schultz for two more weeks either. Lawrence is short term so maybe a two week or a month long deal. No need to worry about import numbers yet.

We're short of forwards,Lawrence is a forward. Good business considering the coming weekend.

Had to happen, if only because of this thread.
Threads merged btw.

The thing that really surprises me is that "Homer" Thompson released him to be honest.

I wonder who will get more points. Lawrence, or the "I told you so" brigade.
At the end if the day we all support Panthers, and like him or not, it has to be a good signing in the circumstances.

In some respects, this reminds me of when we released Meyers and signed Weaver. Some were disgusted and hated it, others loved it and some were in the middle. I think the combination of Ling and Lawrence is mouth watering but we need to put Macmillan on that line to defend!!

Great signing, very shrewd and about time. Disserpointed we didn't snap him up before he tarnished himself with his last few clubs. His numbers speak for them self, he will do a good job.

Well im happy with Lawrence coming back,so that should be enough for the rest of you lot.
He was the top scorer last season on a CRAP Panthers team,i'm looking forward to seeing what he can do in a good team !

OK it was disappointing, but we had a lot of injuries (critical regarding Kwall) and we did finish top of our conference - so perhaps crap is bit of an exaggeration. If we had avoided a couple of give aways by Berube and Jacina, we could easily have added to this.

If the self proclaimed man who is hardly ever wrong is happy then we all should be obviously. Hold up the sandal, as He has commanded us. It is a shoe! It is a shoe!

British hockey at its finest I was never one of the Lawrence bashers, he will do a job. Put him on a line with ling and he will give us what we need. As long as he's doesnt cost us goals i'll be happy.

Most annoying Panther I've watched in my 13 seasons but a sensible signing in the circumstances.
Please don't put him on the pp. The thought of him winding up for a massive slap slot at the back post and then making no contact with the puck still makes me shudder.

Makes sense to me, we are short, he can play and was available. Knows our systems and gets on with Corey. Really looking forward to the weekend trip to Scotland. Lets Go Panthers

Ling made Graham look very good, truth is he was an average player. Of course he wasn't. He scored 40 goals for goodness sake. He just shouldn't have come back, certainly not the first to suffer that fate and won't be the last. 37 one season, 16 the next. Ling made him look better than he was. He never used his reach, never checked and was so frustrating to watch. Bet if he wasnt on a line with Ling he wouldnt have got anywhere near 37 goals
