Corey has had his hands tied this year by those above, remember they didnt want him here this year, Corey had said his goodbye's and was convinced that was it. It was a surprise when they changed their minds, maybe Chuck turned them down to stay at Coventry who knows. NB has had the final say on alot of the signings. Speculation or actual facts? Please recall the £50 for Salters posts when typing your reply..... No speculation, NB told Corey that he would have the final say on the signings this year.

And again, Lawrence was apparently the healthy scratch for Sheffield in tonight's game against Fife. Has the shine worn off now?

Ha, if we sign him this place will self combust. From the friction of all those people turning on their heels? Can't see it though.

If this happens then I have no problem with it as long he's only used as injury cover or if someone's form drops off.
Once everyone is back fit I would expect to see him in the commentary box rather than on the ice.

Not for me ta. Already suffered that for a full season where he had 1 good month with us.
Seems like a decent bloke, but not a player I want on this team.
All the Star has done is plucked random names so if/when they sign him full-time it looks better as "other teams wanted him". And if they do sign someone else and he goes elsewhere they "signed the better player".

If Moran is out for more than 3/4 weeks then we could do with another injury cover. The marmite player might come in handy, who knows?. We want to prove we're title contenders and do everything we can to ensure we stick in the top 2, put him with Ling.. could be a similar partnership to what him and Graham had, unlikely but who can say otherwise. Just got to see Lawrence's shot to have a bit of belief.

He annoyed everyone last year, but he was our number 1 goal threat before Doucet came so we relied on him and he didn't perform.
If he came in as a 2nd/3rd liner, could he work? Who knows. I wouldn't be thrilled but wouldn't rule him out.

Not sure why what he's written relates to Bruce in any way? However, Graham looked un-fit and dis-interested to me last year...as did most of our roster.

If Lawrence wants to stay in the EIHL his contract would have to be for the season as he cant sign for more than 3 EIHL teams in any one season.

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world him coming back here, although I was glad we got shut.
Other players who we have wanted back have often dissapointed, perhaps someone coming back who the majority probably don't want back may have the opposite effect.
He wouldn't have played in Corey's testimonial if it was an acrimonious departure.
