It's my birthday and I am going up for the game. I really can't see us coming out with anything in this or the next game.
5-1 steelers.

Hopefully we have Jacina and Oakford back for this one, as well as Lee of course. Clarke i can't see playing again till the new year earliest. With all that being said, i have a feeling we may be without Lawrence, his reaction to being elbowed in yesterdays game is easily suspendable, continued punching Hendrikx who wasn't even the one who elbowed him, while down on the ice and while there was 2 officials on top of them trying to split them apart. Lawrence then tried to start with Batch i think it was as he got up. Comparable to the Nickerson incident against Steelers the other week.

got 5 mins for fighting at the time not even a game misconduct so in theory not reviewed... unless asked for by Cardiff of course... (who lets be honest started the rackass..)

Batch got a Game Misconduct so the whole incident should be looked at in theory, i wouldn't have given a Game Misconduct personally but i'd like to see a replay, i would have given Lawrence a Game Misconduct though for 'Excessive Roughness' I do justify Lawrences actions though, he doesn't seem to be one who will do stupid things, or instigate so for him to react the way he did he must have been hurt by the elbow or thought that it was a dangerous play. Hopefully Batch gets a suspension and Lawrence doesn't ;P

A breeze for Sheffield, I predict 8-1 to Sheffield and our fourth consecutive loss.

In going to construct this comment in a Gary Moran style: "Bad bounces cost us, bad reffing cost us, lucky/fluke goals for them, we worked hard but it just didn't click, playing short takes its toll and the hockey gods are against us" Now back to me and I'm dubbing this weekend "the turning point" panthers to sneak it 2-1 in sheffield and then 9-4 win at home in a blow out game where Graham fibds his stick Higgins dekes every player going and we throw the body all night!! After all it's christmas so I'm entitled to have wishful thinking.

This game see's the return of none other than Jeff Legue, he re-signs with Steelers despite signing a 3 year deal with Steeldogs in the Summer.

Three NMs listed on the EIHL site gamesheet (Modig, Green, Gospel) - Anybody know if either Modig or Green is not fully fit or is it an error?

Couldn't make the game due to being at work but apparently we're up 4 - 0. Awesome stuff! Can't wait for tomorrow now.

Final score Panthers win 4-0. Who saw that coming?
Credit where credit's due.
Well done lads.
Repeat tomorrow please. Or is that too much to ask?

Didn't see that coming. I've been critical of late but well done Panthers, massive result.

Credit where credit is due, that was a gutsy performance and I never saw that coming at all. I expected to be trounced following the recent shocking performances. But it begs the question, how can a team get hammered, at home, by Fife and Hull, then take the Steelers to the cleaners in Sheffield.
