Well that was very poor. We seemed lacking in energy and cohesion from the off. Dundee looked sharper and far more positive particularly on the power play. Wren, Capraro and Ryan all played as if the axe was hovering over them. We seemed to get nothing from that line. And what has happened to our face off capability . We seemed to lose the great majority of them tonight. Definitely work to be done there. I thought Conway had a pretty good evening and at times kept us in the game. Jensen looked lively and took his goal well. When he gets himself match fit I believe he will be a major asset to the team. Overall a pretty poor performance by the team and rather fortunate to take the two points.

Riga can certainly skate! Never gave Hague players any time on the puck and hunted in packs. The kids are obviously brought up in a hockey environment and are very skilled. Dread to think if they step up a few gears !!!!

Not when they get thumped at home they're not. Still don't think I've seen the highlights of our 8-0 demolition of them last December What did you say, The PANTHERS beat The BLAZE 8-0, I've not seen any recording of that game. Pm me if you want a copy of THAT game lol

Having broken my ankle twice I feel for the guy. Lacroix seemed to be Steelers one shining light on Saturday so is appalling luck. Wish you a speedy recovery and return to the ice.

Did any of you guys hit problems returning from the game with the M42 closed through the night?. I ended up travelling back via the A38 through Derby!

Benny played on D on Saturday when Werner got injured and Henley was chucked out. We rolled only 4 D on Sunday: Lee, Weaver, Norton & Murray. Benedict was on D in the first but moved up front thereafter.

So with Murray, Lee and Norton we are seriously looking threadbare at the back. I realise Benny will have again be a stand in. Its going to need a big effort and concentration tonight to bring back the points. Whats up with Weaver? Apologies Shorty. I did indeed forget Weaver. Unforgivable. Maybes drinking in the Hampton Hotel may have had influence.

To be honest Panthers should never have had to go to penalties, Kowalski should have been in. Sod 'being nice', play the best team you have available. Anything else short-changes the fans. It's a pre-season warm-up game for crying out loud. Green needs game practice, and he got it in a pre-season warm-up game. You seem to be lacking a sense of perspective. At last the voice of reason

Hi Caesar. Yes copied straight onto DVD. Lead from DVD recorder to Sky box. Lead from DVD recorder to TV. A basic DVD (4.7g) is basically for two hours use. The recording, after editing adverts etc out is just under 3 hours so it has to be compressed to fit. Obviously the compression reduces the quality but still well watchable.

Not sure of the state of play regarding the DVD of the Play Offs. An HD copy is obviously preferable and I believe I read that a poster may be able to sort something down that road. However if you are not sorted out I have a copy of the finals on disk. PM me if you are interested.
