Well done as he's having a fairly solid season. But is he replacing someone as he's a D and Farms is a forward.

Swindon Wildcats netminder Stevie Lyle, Nottingham Panthers defenceman Sam Oakford, Belfast Giants forward Mark Garside and Coventry Blaze forward Ross Venus have been added to Great Britain's squad for this week's Olympic Pre-Qualifiers in Cortina. The quartet replace netminder Stephen Murphy, defenceman Jonathan Weaver and forwards Matt Haywood and Robert Farmer.

Looking forward to this, and heading over to watch it.
Hoping we don't get an Assiago style final game.

Does anyone know which imports are GB qualified?
I like Oakford but if someone like Mosey is qualified, that would be an easy decision for me.
Im not a massive fan of multiple dual nationals but if everyone else is doing it...

We are second seeds behind Italy. Netherlands third and Serbia fourth.
Mosey qualifies at the end of the season I think.
Not sure we have any dual nationals now, but think the other teams may have one or two.

If their club side was anything to go by then we should be easy winners against Serbia, Netherlands are a decent team, Italy game is winnable, with it being the last game it should be a good game. Shame that Haywood has had to drop out.

Is this for the squad or actual team. Seems a late move for all these players.

Im not a massive fan of multiple dual nationals but if everyone else is doing it... Had read somewhere in previous posts that you need two seasons in the league to be eligble.
So if he makes it through this season, should be eligble for April Worlds and beyond.
Do we have any duals already playing for GB?

If that is the case, then surely there are dual nationals in this league that can make the national team much better, I know some people may not like it (and I can certainly understand it) however we would certainly be improved if certain players were included (when eligible) such as:
Stewart, Mosey, Nickerson, Benedict, Keefe, Doucet , Roy and the list can certainly go on.

They'd all have to apply for a British passport to become an eligible dual national. Mosey already has a British one but needs to finish this season to become eligible.
