That did not feel like a pre season game. We looked fast and organised to say it was our first game together it was good to watch.
Impressed with Fick, thought he was solid at the back, calm and composed.
Who got the assist on the Rheault game winner? What a beauty of a pass that was. And talking of beauties, that was a bullet from Deutsch....Wow.
Also think the new screen was used well with the video at the beginning, it was used wrong didn’t pump up the crowd, but still a decent video. The replays were also good to see.

I like the green one in this photo, would have liked it darker but couldn’t care what they wear as long as they win because I still won’t buy one.
Black I like though.

Could the apparent budget cut be down to the new screen? I don't see why it should affect our signings but you can tell this roster is no where near as expensive as the 'top 3'

Definitely seems to be a noticeable splitting of the 'big four' into three big spenders plus panthers this offseason, don't think this is just a cynical panthers fan perspective either - in Simms periscope last week he mentioned competing with Belfast and Cardiff in terms of spending / signings, which seemed to be an acknowledgment that Panthers weren't splashing similar levels of cash. Like a lot of professional leagues, you can split the EIHL into three separate leagues really; big four, mid table (Guildford, Glasgow, Fife) and the teams that generally struggle or have to recruit more conservatively (Dundee, Manchester etc). Whilst there is obviously some crossover, and seasons where there are anomalies (Manchester and Dundee finishing 2nd) the results bear out that since the league win in 2013 panthers have been significantly the least successful of the big four, with league finishes of 4th, 4th, 5th, 4th, 4th and 3rd whilst our competitors have all won two league titles each during this time... I hate to use comparison...but I'm starting to see Panthers as the NUFC of the EIHL More like Arsenal Unfortunately I support both Arsenal and Panthers. Both owners are tight, both happy to settle for 4th/5th, both sign average players with the added star every once in a while. No matter how bad the team do there will always be fans there to support then.

Signing two Swedes also means they should get her in time for training camp and pre season right?
Looking forward to seeing them both play. Welcome to Nottingham!

Maybe 2 signings. Maybe one is Swedish and one German, or none of the above lol.

I bought 4 “freebie” tickets at I think £3 each. Also had the option to go to around another 5ish more. So glad I didn’t buy a ST and haven’t this year either.

I can’t see why anyone would be disappointed with this signing. At 24 he has plenty of potential, already played 100 games the league, GB international, won things. What’s not to like?
Start Carr in all leagues games, give Whistle the CC. Split the continental. If we can get another Brit back up we can a also then play an extra import. Great signing for me, well done Panthers.

Unless he is holding out for somewhere in Europe still with the option to come back here still open. Don’t know who is at fault though in this situation
1) The club for waiting on one player rather than just going to get some else in OR 2) Farmer for not giving up sooner and signing back up when he knows how late it is

With 27 days to go until our first pre season game are we leaving it late for the last few signings? We have never been great at getting all the players here for the first game of pre season.

For what this is worth saw it on Facebook and the guy seems to follow the NCAA
"Wow!!! What a signing by the Panthers 😮
Can't believe Tim Wallace & Gui Doucet have managed to pull this one out of the bag.
I've watched him play at both Edina High School & for the University of Notre Dame. He is a highly rated prospect. Whether he stays the whole season with Panthers, is another matter. But I know that I can't wait to attend a few Panthers games next season to see him play.
Trust me Panthers fans, you're going to love this kid. He also has a younger brother, Liam who has just graduated Edina High School & he is every bit as talented. Welcome to Nottingham Dylan. 🏒🥅🐝💚"

Or it is #19 and they don't want pee'd off Panthers fans so leaving them clinging on to hope of his return until the season starts and he isnt here.

Damn, so going from that article if he was on a two year deal surely Giants had to agree to him going there? Or get some compensation for letting him go? Great signing for devils. Not surprised they could pull something like this off though, wish Panthers had the cojones to do something like this

Still good to have a guess. If we knew who we were signing every time the fun would go out of it let’s be honest.

Shame I would have had him back. Whilst he may not look like he was at his best our team was very poor last year, with a different coach it could have been different. Also the injury was bad so suppose never really got to see the best of Dylan. Oh well we move on, hopefully for the better. He played 53 games though, the vast majority pre injury. Surely that’s more than enough for any player to show their true potential ? I think my punctuation in the post was off but what I meant was he was on a poor team and he had a bad injury so didn't get to see what he could potentially do. Also to see what he could do under a new coach. I would have taken him back but I take it you wouldn't which is fair enough. The way they have treated him after the season doesn't look good either
