Shame I would have had him back. Whilst he may not look like he was at his best our team was very poor last year, with a different coach it could have been different. Also the injury was bad so suppose never really got to see the best of Dylan. Oh well we move on, hopefully for the better.

Danny Fick www.eliteprospects.com/player/97628/danny-fickTHE NOTTINGHAM Panthers have added reliable 27 year-old defenceman Danny Fick to the roster for the upcoming 2019-20 season. The American studied and played ice hockey at the prestigious Harvard University from 2010 to 2014. The plan is for him to again study whilst playing with a hoped for link-up for Danny with the world renowned Loughborough University. A native of Minnesota Danny spent last season with the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers, where he was an assistant captain during the 2017-18 season, and had a call-up to the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. 2019-20 will mark the right-shot defenceman’s second venture into Europe as upon graduating from Harvard he moved to the Norwegian league (2014-15) where he played 30 games for Mangerlud in his first season as a professional before moving back Stateside to join Wheeling.

I agree we deffinetly need a big tough forward. Not necessarily a fighter just someone that does the dirty work but contributes.

Agreed Yotes, comparing the two I think everyone would choose Taylor and to do the gif thing was just setting themselves up. Oh well he might to turn out to be great ... who knows. As a side note, Carr is on Twitter and is going to see the reaction of everyone asking why it isn’t Taylor. Not good

Think this topic crops up once a year, and whilst everyone here thinks it’s a great idea. Those at Panthers HQ think otherwise. I think GM was asked this question on the interview with cats whiskers or something like that, was he not?

Bowns displaying tonnes of ambition I see. I hope i never see anyone say hes a great nettie hes just decent for this league.. And they wonder why Brit players will never test themselves abroad and I donr mean for 1 season either. #cushyeihl I never understand this . There are millions and millions of people in jobs all over the world who 'Settle'. By that i mean, they are happy in their job, could possibly move up/achieve more but choose not to. Being a sportsperson is no different really, it's just a job. Take me for example, I am 50 now. Never been out of work since the day I left school. I earn enough for me to enjoy my life, have travelled Europe, USA and Canada at least 30 times. My jobs haven't been amazing , just enough for me to have fun. I want to be home, I want to be close to my family. I personally don't see a problem with that. We are all different though. I totally get you but I think this situation is slightly different as according to bowns himself he wants to play abroad, surely he's had offers in the past 5 years? But then on the other hand listening to his interview with Devils you can see why he didn't go this time. Personally I don't care whether brits stay or go abroad its up to them.

European hockey and top tier in the UK for the brits that do come, if they choose to drop down a league for money then I am happy they won’t be here next season as it shows they lack ambition. I know they have a short career so money does play a part but I am sure they are on a decent wage here.

I agree I thought Lepine was poor, Rheault maybe can give him a full year see what he can do. Farmer and Perlini are on two year deals right?

You know what? Whatever it is, I just wont be able to get excited about it. It could be Moran retiring, and a new GM and HC combo that's coming straight from the NHL ( I know it wont be, but stay with me) . This club has been sucking the enthusiasm from me for the last few years, if not more. Before the start of the season just finished I really thought we'd turned a corner. New coach with European experience and roster that should have delivered, but, it all went tits up. Until we deliver constantly in the next few seasons, then I just cant muster any interest So imagine if it turns out to be Strachan ... 🤣🤣

I totally agree and believe me people are starting realise the same. A group of 7 of us used to have season tickets, that was down to 2, two years ago. Last season 0. Just reading on Facebook many people aren't renewing season tickets instead picking and choosing games.
Up until last season I never missed a home game since I was 15 years old. Last season I only went to a handful of games. Its such a shame but I can't see anything changing that in the near future.
The least they could do is issue a statement at the end of the season to say it wasn't acceptable and what they plan to do to rectify it. But we just get total silence.

Great final. Thought Giants deserved it, don't know what happening with that hit but if it was bad Giants are gonna feel even more hard done by. But like I said great game even for a neutral. If only we had team like either of those

take It those that just see “oh he’s 5th” haven’t looked at the rest of the table. I’ve been keeping up with him just to see how he does and he’s been battling at the top almost the whole season in his first year! Only 5 points off top. How anyone can try discredit him is beyond me.
Fair play to him, hopefully he has a great career.

Tbh attacking anyone regardless of whether they have a disability or not is just wrong. People are at the game to enjoy themselves and have a night out, not to have to deal with people that can't control their emotions.
If they can't control their emotions at a game then maybe they should take up another hobby that doesn't involve having to sit with other people.
