Great stuff. But a link up normally means a two way street. What the hell can we offer them? Dan Green? Ice time for their developing players? A pre season game at the world famous NIC?

Good news and a big well done to the club.
If this is a proper link up maybe we could see some forwards and D men come over at short notice to help with injuries during the season.

Jindrich Pacl to Panthers. Randomly plucked name or in the know? Says he's signed to a team for this season, unless it's a loan situation Crazy Pete Kalus just tweeted it. No idea if it's true though.

Anyone should be able to band together as a group of friends in an endeavour to build on their interests in something. What I'd suggest is to keep it simple and not get anteganistic or offensive. It's just about you and the sport. Be seperate or you'll be roped on to affiliation and handing dosh over. If its to be non profit and non competitive you can have some fun going it. We're certainly not looking to be remotely aggressive. One of the main aims of the trust will be to improve communication between the fans and the club. It's certainly not going to be a closed group for a bunch of friends though. It will be set up as a supporters trust with a democratically elected board. Please do send me a message if you'd like more information.

Is it me or is this season a slightly larger mess than the past few? We're kind of used to these late signings, non full roster & players coming over too late rubbish but it's been worse this season, hasn't it?! I personally feel like it is which is why I started the thread "what can we the fans do". As Yotes pointed out it's probably just that it's death by a thousand cuts.

Better late than never I suppose. Yep, fingers crossed we can get Nikiforuk in for the 1st league game on September the 9th so we'd just be missing the Cam replacement.

I think I spotted a tweet from the media guy replying to a fan saying that he is coming in next week. I saw something like that, but pretty sure it was last Saturday after the Braehead game. Been told he arrives in England on Sunday.

Coach Corey Neilson is hunting for a new centre today after receiving news that Brad Moran will be hanging up the skates and taking a job outside of hockey.
We wish will all the best.

Lots of new people added to the Whatsapp group and some great ideas coming in.
Progress is being made and things do need to be set up properly so it's not going to be sorted overnight.
Thanks to you all for your help and input so far.

Thanks to everyone who has said they would like to get involved so far.
I'm going to set up a WhatsApp group for us to use to make arrangements and discuss a few things. Once we have decided on an agreed name we can set up Twitter and Facebook pages which should help to recruit more members and can be used to promote meetings etc.
So, all of you that want to get involved please send me a message on here with you real name and mobile number.
Cheers

Sounds a plan ftm, but it would need clearly defined goals and not an agenda/chip otherwise it will fail from the off. I guess if its going down the democratic route this would need to be agreed by the majority and have defined endpoints.. But in principle I think its a good idea... Exactly and glad to have you on board. I want this to be a vehicle for positive change rather than a way of having a dig at the club or any individuals.
