The threat of razor blades selling out in Nottingham has subsided after news of Pacl's signing this morning. Panthers add third goalieHooray! We got a "radar" quip in the article 😂😂😂 But seriously, it calms some concerns re Miika & if the article mentioning closer ties with Orli comes to fruition, in whatever context Panthers mean, well, happy days.

I like this. Some initiative shown before the league campaign has even started. Kudos to the Panthers!
Can't argue that we aren't taking the league seriously this year! Iginla got what he wanted - a young euro back up to train up!

Finally Panthers are the ones making the progress.
Pacl looks solid enough, big 21 year old with Czech Junior and International (u20's) experience. I'd strongly suspect that he's being sent on loan, otherwise we wouldn't be trying to make a link between the clubs and with him being 21 with lots of potential, agreeing a permanent transfer would be very expensive.
Great to see Kalus with the heart of a Panther still. Very happy about this. I'm looking at it more as a partner for Miika than the clubs new backup. When we have all imports signed Green will be back on the clipboard.

Good news and a big well done to the club.
If this is a proper link up maybe we could see some forwards and D men come over at short notice to help with injuries during the season.

Great stuff. But a link up normally means a two way street. What the hell can we offer them? Dan Green?

I haven't changed about the stats Shorty, still think we could have got better. But at least they've learned last years lesson and we hopefully won't see Geener between the pipes, apart from in warm up. Hurray.......today is going to be a good day !

Wonder if we can ask them to send Kalus over while Shultz is out injured (even though we've had no updates on him or Carter for that matter).

It's a blinding move signing a young kid. Because everybody else's forwards will be embarrassed to score on us........very crafty move Panthers !

Happy with this. Well done Panthers. Seems that lessons have been learnt from last season.
Article also says the final signing may only be a few days away.
Good stuff.

Well done panthers showing intent this year and learning from past mistakes which is a big plus. We even got an update on our last signing which may only be a few days away. Very happy panther this morning

Hope the above link works. Tis a little something I found on you tube. I assume its from his time in the EBEL under 20 league ladt season.... looks good.... at least (at that level) down low and also stopping breakaways. I have a feeling he will play this coming sunday in Coventry. Most likely that its a loan deal. Nontheless welcome to the club Jindrich and good luck

Brilliant from the club, this has put us in the driving seat now. Could be a regular thing from now on if we have set up a link with this Czech team, maybe the rest of the league will follow our suit, Panthers leading the way for once.
Welcome to the club Jindrich.

Happy with the signing.
From the video he looks very good down low but didn't see a shot go up high on him, likes to spend a lot of time down low. Have to say the press release from panthers was a lot better on this one too. Not just here's his name, enjoy, good seats still available.

This is the kinda deal we have needed to be doing for a long time. Forging links with European leagues and benefitting from their excess talent.
I hope this sets a trend across the league.
Good job.

Just me then that thinks this is a cheap replacement for our injured and most probably out for a good proportion of the season number one net minder. Am sorry but time has shown me panthers only do this sort of thing when they have to so I suspect it either means the end of Mike or at the least a longer term injury..

It doesn't sound like they put it together over night, I'd imagine this has been planned for a bit.
Seems a good bit of business to me, he's got to be better then Green.

Hardly. He's just here for when Mikka breaks down. It's excellent business if he's here for the season. He's a good young prospect and will know he will be a scratch when Mikka is back fit. Sounds like this would happen even before Mikka had his injury in France. I expect Mikka may be out for around 3 weeks and Pacl will be retained

If that is the case then it is highly likely Panthers had concerns over Miika's fitness even before the 3rd game of the Napoleon cub. Might well have surfaced the day before against Amiens which also resulted in him not completing the game. I have a suspicion it was even earlier than that. Either way to me it seems Panthers arent convinced this injury whatever it is will be okay in a few days.... more like a week or two at least or that the injury wont re-occur.... last thing anyone wants is a repeat of last season. Is Pacl good enough? Only time will tell. Though he is an upgrade on Green which lets be frank isnt difficult.....
