There's nothing like exaggerating to get tongues wagging is there?! Yes, it's true ... whilst serving Queen and Country in that there London I partook in some sherberts as is customary on such occassions and went to see some comedy hockey in the bike shed. (and have my ear gnawed by Oscar the dog) As for the rest? Well, you all know what I'm like with directions, my complete inability to find my hotel last play off weekend testament to that. On Friday however I managed to navigate from one side of the Capital to the other using trains, tubes and shank's pony ... and back again! Thus proving a 'modicum' of sobriety!

Yep, they did a feature on 'Big Mac', talked to him, Adey, GM, Cruickshank (his roomie) and a few others. Some of it in McDonalds, some at this morning's training session. A bit cheesy in places (Big Mac with cheese?!) but all good publicity for the club.
I wish they'd let us know it was going to be on though.

From time to time people report being unhappy with transactions conducted via this board, either due to problems with payment or goods not being as described. You should take extra caution when dealing with someone you don't know. If you don't know the buyer or seller that you are dealing with, it may be prudent to exchange cash and goods in person in a safe public place and accompanied by an adult if possible. If meeting in person is impractical then it may be safer to arrange for the transaction to take place through a website such as eBay that provides some protection against fraudulent transactions (whichever website you choose, read their terms and conditions carefully for details on what protection they offer). Bear in mind that it is very difficult to verify the authenticity of goods if they are bought outside of a regulated system (such as Ebay) and cannot be examined prior to money changing hands. Getting any redress in such circumstances may be impossible. Please be aware that the Sales, Wants and Swops area of this forum is provided as an open service to Cage Forum members.
