Congratulations to everyone at Derby County for what will always be remembered as a truly remarkable season.
Lowest Premiership points total ever Least goals scored in Premiership history First team to only win one game all season for 108 years. Second most goals conceded in Premiership history Worst goal difference in Premiership history
Commiserations must go to the management who narrowly missed out on the biggest defeat of the season award, which was cruely snatched from them at the death by Man City's heroic collapse at Middlesbrough.

Truly amazing achievements from all concerned ;D
Lets just hope whoever goes up from the championship gets more pts so Derby can hold those records forever ;D

And I have been very impressed with the way that Paul Jewell has consistently managed to duck any blame whatsoever for what has gone on. After every defeat, he has shook his head despairingly and bemoaned the ability and attitude of his players.
His message from day one has been "I am here to rebuild next season in the Championship", which may well be true but if he were as good a manager as some people claim surely he could have done something to prevent some of the capitulations? Or, if he wasn't satisfied with the attitude of his first team squad, play the youth team (could hardly have done much worse and might have at least shown the application to keep fans on side). Seems to me he has been happy to take the money but not the responsibility since taking over.
Having said that, his post match interview on Sunday was classic. The first time I have ever heard a manager say that their fans were correct to shout "You're not fit to wear the shirt" and confirm that, in the manager's expert opinion, they are not and most will never do so again. Fair play to the man.

i realise im quite far behind but havent been on here for a while - the only good thing to come out of this year (apart from the money) is the fans. DCFC fans have never had a great reputation but the dedication that many fans have shown has made alot of people reassess their opinion of derby fans.
As for Paul Jewell im still not convinced, i think we will need to back him up with alot of money however if we dont make it back into the prem within 3 years we will be back to square one and have to borrow beyond our means.

To be fair Kev, a good number of your fans turning up every week were ST holders. They're counted in the attendance even if they don't turn up.

They have already sold over 21000 tickets for next season though.

And im not just talking about attendances i was including the conduct, getting behind the team, cheering when your 5/6 nil down, etc

I was impressed with the good nature derby fans took their miserable season, i especially liked the "lets pretend we've scored a goal" chants ;D

Derby fans have been class this season. Fair play to them.
However they'll turn in a heartbeat next season if it all goes wrong.

I really think Jewell has lost his marbles with Derbys transfer dealings so far. To get rid of Earnshaw and Miller and bring in Ellington and Davies is stupidity of the highest level.

Earnshaw wasn't working at Derby, and Miller made it clear he wanted to leave. Ellington has a good record-ish and this Davies is supposed to be reasonable. It's a definite downgrade, but you can see why he's done the moves.

It's now almost a YEAR since they won a league game. Incredible Derby, raising the bar!
Booing today too!

They think they're world beaters because they got past a League Two side in extra time at home. Pathetic.

Not every team can be as excellent as Nottingham Forest / Notts County.

Not every team can be as excellent as Nottingham Forest / Notts County. No, but in the context of Derby being a team that was playing in the Premiership only a few months ago, and has to rely on extra time to beat a League Two outfit, then the victories of both Nottingham clubs were great results.

And dont forget the fact that Forest have beaten as many Premiership teams as Derby has over the past two years...
