Not every team can be as excellent as Nottingham Forest / Notts County. No, but in the context of Derby being a team that was playing in the Premiership only a few months ago, and has to rely on extra time to beat a League Two outfit, then the victories of both Nottingham clubs were great results. Just seems silly to me (as a neutral) that there seems to be a thread devoted to gloating that a team 2 leagues above (at the time the thread was started) wasn't winning much. If Forest finish the season ahead of Derby for the first time in 5 years, then you might have something to gloat about.

If stories are to be believed about Derby's finances then Forest could be finsishing above Derby for a long time to come. Their fans deserve better. They've been badly let down and have been a laughing stock for 11 months now.

It's called banter, and if you really need it explaining to you, then I'm honestly amazed. Forest fans take the wee wee out of Derby & their fans do it to Forest.

Fair enough, whatever floats your boat(s), it's just as an outsider it looks a bit silly. P.S. I realise most of you don't care if I think it looks silly and that's fair enough, there's no reason you should really.

I believe their last game broke the league record for most (league) games without a win.
Good innit!

Paul Jewell's job is badly under threat now, they just can't seem to do it in the league. I'm not overly fussed like, at least Mansfield are winning a few games

I find a lot of the rubbish that some people try and pass off as banter between Panthers and Steelers fans pretty silly too, and that's without being an outsider.

One of the things I would say about some of the stuff on that board is that there seems to have been a shift in the age of the posters. Maybe it's me but it seems to be getting younger. I don't go on it that often so maybe I'm mistaken. I imagine the Panthers have a higher proportion of under 21 fans than the City Ground or Meadow Lane.

I've got to agree with Sunbeam here, the average age of posters on here must have dipped sharply.

Typical! We (sheff United) ALWAYS seem to get beaten by teams on losing streaks! To lose against a team who hasnt won for 12 months and the winner coming from a striker who hasnt scored for 18 months is par for the course for us! Well done Derby though i guess....
