Myers to return as he has a job in Nottingham Petricko to return Mark Smith a done deal McAslan to return unless he gets a better offer from Europe Stephen Murphy to come in as back up to Rasto Rod Stevens staying in North America Clarke still deciding on a move to Austria Woolhouse to the Scimitars Like I said, just things I've heard so they could all be complete tosh!!

he may not of got the points last season, but he was always fighting for the puck and digging in, abit like myers does. He also did a fantastic job at man marking tessier against shuff. Ide have him back either way for points or for grinding out the puck.

Well, to me, is isnt much of a player in either role. He isnt a natural goalscorer, judging by the amount of open goals he missed. He isnt a good grinder and he isnt a big hitter.
I just see him as an average player in each role, so like I said, unless he came cheap......

Myers I want to come back, same with Clarke, seeing as they are the best 2 brits available and both to a good job. Stevens, I liked him but he was too lightweight for my liking. McAslan, indifferent, he scored but seemed to get lost alot of the time. Murphy, cant see him coming in as a Backup

Can you imagine PC, Smith and Macca on the same team. No problems putting it away!
A strong D backed up by rasto and we would be laughing... however I do question if we took those 3 how much actual depth we would have and we would price ourselves out of someone like Shmyr

He knows he is a 3rd line player and not a good enough 3rd liner if he didnt have fighting abilities. Be honest, if he was 6'0 and couldnt fight would you sign him? I REALLY hope he comes back though.

Myers to return as he has a job in Nottingham: Think Myers will be back next season and would be happy to take him Petricko to return: Undecided on him not bothered either way tbh Mark Smith a done deal: I sure hope so as this would be so so good! This rumour has been flying around for ages though so how much strengh is there in this? McAslan to return unless he gets a better offer from Europe: Again undecided, he can score thats for sure but even that didn't make him one of my top players last season! Stephen Murphy to come in as back up to Rasto: Not going to happen, Hes way to good to be a back-up and can't see him agreeing to it either! Rod Stevens staying in North America: Got better towords the end of the season but not sure i want him back. Clarke still deciding on a move to Austria: Really need him or our brit pack is weak so he needs to make a decision and it needs to be us Woolhouse to the Scimitars Been saying for ages that he needs to drop down and get regular ice time so if true good luck to the guy.

How very dare you!!!! lol How could you think that we'd mention the Wage Cap when you have signed Munn, Sheppherd, Finnerty, Tait, Lehman, Manzano, Thomas, Phillips, the other Brits.........and still think you have 2 top liners coming WITHOUT putting the wage cap into question............ ??

Licking stamps is a proper job though Matt! ;D Whereas an off-ice fitness coach is beyond hilarious! If Neilson wants to do that as a career, maybe you could fix him up with a part time job down the local JJB gym?!

Isnt an "off-ice fitness coach" just a fitness coach? I wouldve thought most teams have one, well, ones who want to win the league or playoffs! lol Plus, I doubt his wages will be subsidised by this, although if they are then WOOHOO!!

I believe he did yes. It takes a team to win a Palyoff title, not one average player.

Mark Smith, PC Drouin and Sean Mcaslan? Can't see anytime in the EIHL being able to afford all three.
Can't see Murphy wanting to be a back-up - will do his career wonders!

if our top line ends up being Drouin Mac and Smith, Simms will scream bloody murder, well unless we have a none existent second line.
Petricko is one of those that even after a season watching him im still not completely sure, he can put up big numbers, certainly did for the Vipes. for a big lad he doesnt use it much which is a shame as when he does hes quite effective, cant remember who its was against but he did a big check on a d-man in there zone, got the puck and scored, one of the best individual goals of the season for me.
like Matt said it depends on the price, sounds obvious but if hes not on a great amount i would be quite happy seeing him on our second line, has the potential to do really well i think.
regarding Clarke im now wondering whether were going to go with just Myers Ferrera and Cooke (Richardson aswell) as our Brits, leaving us to spend more on imports, thats my guess. would still like him back though.
id have Mac back, think with a player like Drouin on the same line we'd get even more from him, which would be flipping brilliant!!
Stevens, hes still pretty fast and short of us getting Smith or someone of equal quality to replace him id quite like him back, again i think he would do better on a line with Drouin and possibly Mac, have a feeling though both might stay over the pond after getting new additions to the family.
Nick
