I understand what your saying Spike and totally agree he doesnt take dumb penalties and puts his body on the line, I just dont like Defenders who neglect their responsibilities as a DEFENSEMAN and for that reason I think his name deserves a mention in this thread.
Stancok has 3 major attributes over Pelletier that make a solid D man... Size, passing and positioning.
That said, I cant say iv taken to either of them and would be happy if either/both left. When Stancok does miss a pass it gets remembered because he seems to make them at stupid times but so do Corey and Meyers so whats the answer lol

Dear Jim,
Please, please, please can you fix it for me to have somebody give a credible explanation of how the names Pelletier and Stancock can appear on a thread entitled 'worst player ever seen in a panthers shirt?'
Yours sincerely,
Fez (aged 26 and 1/4)

How has this thread in AMNESIA LANE about rubbish former players turned into a debate about Pelletier and Stancok that belongs on Talk Hockey?
I hearby request these posts to be removed to take this AMNESIA thread back to what it should be!!! Hurumph.

Yours sincerely, Fez (aged 26 and 1/4) Now then now then, as it happens Fez They are current Panthers players and fit the criteria set out. i.e They have worn a Panthers Jersey. I don't agree that the 2 players mentioned latterly should be on here but someone obviously feels differently, rightly or wrongly I am not to judge as it is opinion based. Thank you. Alf Garnett (aged 40 years and 364 days) !!!! ;D

On the last line, has to be Evan Lindsay, although I do think that the stick he got caused his confidence to vanish, never to be seen again.

I think the problem with Ceman wasn't his ability but he just couldn't be bothered he got 20 points in 25 games not bad. I feel he was compared with Tessier too much though remember got 32 points in 16 games. Before going on to Swizerland which was never about the money

He was good in europe, came over here and was good in sheffield, was ok for us and left to go to a better standard. Hes a 3rd line centre on the continent though and a 2nd liner here so to replace Tess was never going to work. Id take him on this roster, a quick 2 way Centre, I just wudnt replace Wally or Mcaslan with him

TBH i haven't seen stancok make a cross ice pass to create a good scoring chance from his natural position. Positioning i would go half and half because stancok is a stay at home defenceman so it's a bit different. When pele goes on the attack he is usually the first one coming back if the other team is on a break, wheter its because he's realised he's made a mistake or because he actaully gives 2 monkeys about playing for this organsisation unlike some players, i don't which of them options it is, for all i know it could be both.

For what its worth I think hes got 900%better recently. He still rushes with the puck but thats ok, its when you wander aimlessly that its a problem which is what he was doing. He busts a gut to make it back, but never does. Il give it another few games before I change the DOES to DID but things have definatly improved and im all for his physical play. Agree re Stancok

I must say lately Coleman looks a big candidate for one of the worst players ever. Its hard to think how we replaced PC with him.
Lindsay was bad but he did get above.90- Rasto didn't this season.
As the worst player I have ever seen goes I don't think anyone could be worse than Dan Ceman. Especially after Te$$ier left and he cam from Shuff hoping to start our season back up again.

I could always guarentee when i saw lindsay play, he would concede at least 2 goals a game, usually more. Can't say i can remember a game where he let in less than 2.
