Now we have a series boys Datysuk scores the game winner with 1.24 left in the 3rd, to lead us to a 3-2 win and tie the series at 1. Who says datysuk never performs in the play offs shin ;D This after we went 0-2 in the first 4 mins. Get in ;D ;D LOL You didn't even post a reply on that thread regarding Datysuk's poor return in the play offs, but now you do because he's doing well THIS season?! A total of SIX goals in 49 play off games is poor Ian, poor because: 1) He's got so much talent. 2) He's played on an extremely competitive team. 3) Before this play off campaign, he hadn't scored in the post season since 2002The reason is hes never signed contract extensions before the play offs thats the key. Great timing Kenny H ;D Its about right he started performing though now and if we are you get past the sharks , Hank and Dats have to dominate, and i belive they did just that last night. .... and now we have a new hero in dan Cleary, the new Darren Mccarty ;D

I think this new contract places much emphasis on the team making him the offensive man so too speak.

Well Ducks now lead series 2-1. if someone had told me this score after 3 id be ok with it, however due to a combination of our lack of offensive finishing and giguere playing well lost us this one when we should have won it.
The coach is doing all he can, the players just cant do as asked. both teams tho starting to look very tired the canucks i can understand, but the ducks?!? That looks to be a big weakness for them if a team can keep a high tempo game all the way through a series then the ducks will struggle

Why can you understand the Canucks getting tired but not the Ducks (and just for the record, I don't think they do).
Vancouver's biggest problem right now is their powerplay - 6.3 per cent is shocking.

Well, the nucks have played the equivalent of about 12 games in the PO's so far with the OT sagas against Dallas and Anaheim.

Decent first period for the Sens. 0-0, but they've had the puck in the net twice. One ruled out saying that Brodeur had it under his pads for long enough and another because it went in a second or so after the buzzer. Harsh indeed. Nice game though. PM me if you need a link to watch it.

Boy, Brodeur is immense. I know he lost the game 2-0 but one was when he was 'interfered with' and the other was an EN. He looked unbeatable.

After watching highlights on nhl.com seemed Ottawa to have dominated the game, couldn’t remember seeing a decent attempt on goal from NJ. Ottawa’s first goal is very debatable why it didn’t get called I have no idea, seen penalties for less. Broduer looked to play well 1 goal in 33 shots is not too shabby, unlucky to be on the losing team.

Most of them are playing with injuries or have been out injuried at some point. The problem of our special teams is the sedin's havent really got going yet, they've shown glimpses and Vinny has been trying to shake it up a little and it hasnt come off.

And it was all looking so good going into the 3rd. No chance of coming back from this, it was make or break tonight and it ended in the latter. Ducks had a storming 3rd period and yet again another OT game. I hate hockey I need the summer to give my nerves a rest.

What on earth are we going to do during the summer Kev? No football, no hockey... It's gonna have to be cricket...

OTTAWA SENATORS are now on the brink of making the Eastern Conference Final, after a close, & hard fought 3 - 2 win at Scotiabank Place. Ray Emery, looked 'slightly' wobbly last night, but Sens managed to cling on with a win over NJD (Alfie, Heater, & Fisher) scoring for us. This now gives us a 3 - 1 lead in the series.
Nice to see the Wings get a win over the 'Goldfish' in San Jose, & tie the series 2 - 2. The pendulum seems to have swung in Detroit favour, & I have to fancy them to make it to the West Coast final with Anaheim Ducks.

Problem last night was Hannan's inabiliaty to clear the puck out the zone, and Craig Rivet has been shocking since arriving from the Habs all he is a big oaf on skates. Also Hasek was on fire, and Nabby wasn't tale of two nettys, I think the Sharks will still win the Cup.

Anaheim Ducks K.O Vancouver with a 4- 1 series lead, after a 2 -1 OT win last night. Don Cherry's prediction of a SENS V Ducks final, seems to be coming to fruition

Don Cherry's prediction of a SENS V Ducks final, seems to be coming to fruition It was to be expected but im disappointed by the way we went out. We should have at least got two games against them. It was the 3rd period of game 4 that lost it for us. If we'd have won that the series would have been tied on 2 and we may have had a chance but giving up a two goal lead and making the series 3-1 meant it was always beyond us. What beach is this going to be then? Any beach i dont care.

End of the 3rd of Buff NY and what a goal for buffalo 7.7 seconds left! a low scoring game with no scoring until the 3rd period and going in to overtime, very nucks-esq.

The Rangers get mugged by the Sabres!
That'll probably knock the Rangers out of the Play Offs even though it was only game 5, it'll take a lot to get up off the mat from that.
