If you make the play-offs, you'll go far.

In a similar vein to the Panthers, let's see if you're saying that in March I didn't say that Toronto would win the Stanley cup did I, I said they looked good, especially given the constant barrage of rubbish spouted by anti-Leafers.

I watched the replay and I'd agree with you dude, players didn't seem to know what was going off and Knuble's error for the Bolts' 3rd was woeful. I'm sure you'll improve, probably with the help of Snider

Snider? Have i missed something? Ed Snider, your club's chairman who claims he's going to sort your mess out. Apparently.

Ah, of course. I'm a little slow today. Thought you were talking about a possible trade!

Ah, of course. I'm a little slow today. Thought you were talking about a possible trade! I don't think it's as bad as some Flyers fans are making out. Things can change quickly and it's easy to get a streak going, I mean the Leafs stank for much of last season, but we finally benched Belfour and Aubin got hot, we lost out on thr post season by a measily two points. I still don't understand why you have two 1st choice goalies, and the likes of Hatcher & Rathje are just too slow for the fast NHL. Toronto jettisoned Berg, Richardson & Khavanov so I guess the Flyers have to likewise. Plenty of good talent on your roster, although I did speak with one fan who claimed Hotchcock had lost the team towards the end of last year, which is always a sign of disaster

It's not looking like getting any better. During bad runs you occasionaly get glimpses of potential. The Flyers however cannot score, cannot defend and have poor special teams. Our players are being left behind constantly. I'd say we'd be lucky to make the post-season at this rate.
When is the trade deadline or have i missed it? (hard to keep up whilst at uni)

Well my boys won again last night and are off to their best start in franchise history. No doubt because I’ll be in the Philips Arena for their next two games they’ll stink the place out

Ha ha! Leafs beat Montreal 5-1 last night in an easy peasy game given the Habs couldn't stay out of the penalty box. Tomas Kaberle is on fire

So close last night, Robitaille puts us 4-3 up against the Sabres but we couldn't hold on. Lost in OT.
Still, it's getting marginally better.

Forsberg is still having problems with the ankle he had surgery on, and it can't be determined if it's actually his ankle or his skate that's causing the problem. He's a UFA at season's end and wont re-sign unless he himself knows he'll be 100%, Gagne is being shipped around <reportedly> you have a couple of pylons on the blueline and you still have a log jam at goal. Marginally better my ass.

The cold hard facts are that in the 3 previous games vs Buffalo they've hammered us by an aggregate score of 19 - 2. An OT loss is a marginal improvement.
Probably another false dawn as we hit the road in the Pacific divison after tonights visit to the Igloo. We may get something in LA but I'm not too confident overall.
