How can we win 6-0 away after losing to the same team 4-1 at home the night before? Just watched it, having avoided the forums and had day off work to watch it. Got to get up early on sunday morning to see the montreal game!

Bruins got hammered by the Flordia panthers 8-3. Boston have only won two out of their last 11 opening games.

Just watched the Flames Oilers game from Saturday - looks like being a great season again. You can keep playoff hockey - they play like that every week up there. In the age of ZT the North West Division rocks! If the rest of the season is like that game then all I can say is BRING IT ON! ;D

Toronto beat Calgary 5-4 in OT last night, with Sundin joining the 500 goal club. NASN today at 1pm should be a rather entertaining affair. 500 goals achievedLink

There's the highlights. It's the right way to get 500. Hat trick. Overtime game winner. Short handed

First game I've watched as been away on holiday....looks as if the NHL has got EVEN FASTER than last year under ZT.

Very crummy start to the season, one win and one OT defeat the only points we can get our hands on. Calder still to get a single point too. Things will get better but it aint looking good...

Boy were you right, an embarassing 9-1 defeat Wasn't expecting to be that bad though..... Can the flyers get any worse Newie ;D Could have been worse Pidge. The scoring was condensed into a 26 minute spell in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Absolutely abysmal

Buffalo are looking good again this year. And for a team that all the anti-Leaf fans bashed, so do Toronto. Raycroft is rejuvenated, Sundin is still the man & Wellwood has become a first liner

In a similar vein to the Panthers, let's see if you're saying that in March

it was always going to take time for Toronto to adapt to the post lockout NHL. I think we may make the play offs this year, but it's going to take a few seasons before we're contenders.
