In another sponsership initiative the Devils have been selling boards that will go up on the open end of the tent which were sold for 50 quid plus VAT.
We issued a possible 60 of these last week and now only have 4 left earning us a neat near 3 thousand pound!

Whilst that is an impressive amount, it isn't a long term solution. It is like when the old buckets come out. Everyone is amazed how generous people are initally but it can only keep the club going for a few more weeks and people soon tire of funneling money into any money making scheme a club can think of (I've been there !!).
Fingers crossed something can be done next season to make the team not have such problems, whether it be picking up a big sponsor or cutting costs as has been discussed many times already.

Have the cardiff devils looked at Local Cardiff based firms that are in the fastest growing 100 firms in the uk ?
take a look at these three firms and contact them to see if they would be interested in helping a sporting organisation such as the Cardiff devils .
Henry Howard Finance = Based in cardiff Dawnus Construction = Based in Cardiff and had a 65 million pound turn over for 2007 Craig Shipping = based in Cardiff
these firms have a total turnover of over £100million and are quoted as being in the top three firms in wales for 2007 for Growth . Get firms like this sponsering you and you will have no problem . l sponsership is Tax deductable so they would not miss a few £s profit against TAX .

We are well aware that this is merely a short term solutioin and thats why the club and its management are actively seeking sponsership for next season Now! Lots of people are working extremely hard to ensure our sponsership looks healthy come the off season.
