Dimmsey taking the result about as well as would be expected. But 66 years?

He's talking about our one league title again.
It's all a bit water off a duck's at this point, surely?

Well there is a rumour (Though like a lot of rumours there may be nothing to it) that GG had 6 games (including tonight's game) to turn things around. Anyway as a previous poster said twas a resilient performance by Panthers who actuality showed some fight and determination tonight. Long may it continue. Though at times tonight had it not been for Dubeau we could have been on the wrong side of a hammering. Mathieu Gagnon signing for Panthers was a good signing for the other 9 teams in the league - So said a certain David Simms. They are latest in a long list of comments by him that have come back to bite him... And yet it was Gagnon who put us on the pk after the ps. He was clearly annoyed but the refs thought he had gone after Connolly. So he needs to pick his moments. And talking about ps, can we get Matt Francis or Eric Werner in to give some lessons. I've never seen a less confident or competent set of ps as we had last night and in the loss against Sheffield. Can't speak for the other game but I thought the penalty shot last night was a decent effort, Johnston went in with speed and a clear plan in mind. Greenfield didn't bite on the headfake and then he just couldn't elevate over the pad and glove when he got in close. Hammond took his (albeit in a 6-1 defeat) really well too.

He's talking about our one league title again. It's all a bit water off a duck's at this point, surely? He's a total liability to their club, it's insignificant in terms of on ice product but genuinely one of best moves this summer has been hiring Sophie Rouse as head of social media. Centralising all our match reporting, live updates, videos, offers etc The Steelers account is just Simms indulging himself since they got rid of the guy who improved theirs a couple of years ago and regularly getting into trouble or controversy on there. They operate well in spite of him, not because of him as he believes.

I'm not sure if its been mentioned above but I thought Gagnon was superb in every area last night, he defended well, was probably our best passer out of the defensive zone. Then to top it off, being used on the 3 on 3 overtime and getting an assist on the GWG. He even seemed to be doing a bit of coaching during the time outs/power breaks.

Just watched the highlights back, Davey Phillips should be hanging his head in shame for that passage of play that leads to his penalty!

Gets rocked by a good clean hit, stays down to try and get a penalty, gets up annoyed, throws a stupid cross check and gifts us the powerplay for the equaliser. Braindead play all round and absolutely wonderful to watch.

I was extolling a positive that Gagnon Brought to the game -I.e his assist on the game winning overtime goal. If you want to focus on a negative which in this instance didn't affect the result & it makes you happy to do so that's up to you. Whatever turns you on so to speak It's easier to be negative than positive. Something we've all been guilty of at some point I'm sure. But yes I do agree, Gagnon has to pick his moments.

Why so personal ? I don't expect you to shower me with praise, or even to agree with me, but just comment on my post, please don't be judgemental. It doesn't 'turn me on' to make what you view as a negative comment. Perhaps I look for little improvements, even in a good situation. That's all.
