One thing I've just noticed, Blaze's PP is apparently running at 34%! Best in the series by a mile. And their PK is 84%. Impressive stuff. Panthers could do with keeping out of the penalty box... Which is the useful thing with playoff hockey, refs stick their whistles in their pocket. The only thing they'll call is trips and hooks so just watch your stickwork. Silencing Keck, Hammond and Ferrara is the other key to the game. We did that quite well last night. We just don't need any slip ups

Boivin has now scored at least one point in 12 straight games. I really hope we can see a Boivin, Domingue, Perlini line next year. Look very good together.

Really quite a strange game in some respects. Both teams created some good chances with some great saves both ends. I still think Boivin inadvertantly prevented a Panthers goal with his stick in the crease. Where it's so strange and perhaps you may think im going nuts, but I think it was Whistles worst performance. He absoloutly made some outstanding saves, but his rebound control has been woeful. His team mates did a great job of clearing up after him. No doubts from me he'd earnt the start and he deserved a shutout for some of his performances this series. Was one of those querks that often occur in the sporting world. Gives Pete Russell something to think about for the WC Looks like he gave Wallace something to think about too: Whistle gets the nod for tonight's second leg according to Gamecentre

May and Dineen have yet to fire, shall we say. (Those 2 are currently the lowest point scoring import forwards in the entire tournament. They have one even strength point between them in 13 games.)

Looks like will be some interesting repeat match ups again tonight. Looks like Blaze have swapped their 1st and 2nd lines and Wallace has matched the swap? Guess Wallace was happy with the way they contained Blaze last time. Let's hope for a repeat scoreline too!

One period left, take a hell of a collapse to not make the final from here.

Fantastic performance over the 2 legs. There should be no debate, Whistle should be starting the final series.

True as regards Whistle - I hope he gets the start in Final ONE. I hope bobness feels better too with Dineen picking up two points himself.

Great performance and win or lose in the final Iβve watched every game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Different Panthers team to a couple of weeks ago and very effective now.

In some ways quite a boring game. Panthers were really proffesional, stayed out of the box and did not let Blaze get anything going for the majority of the game. For a guy who scored in the previous 11 straight games, Keck was invisible for the majority of the 2 legs. The line of Lacho, Hook and Betteridge was great at shutting them down and holding the play in Cov's end of the ice. Fantastic performance by the team and big credit to Wallace who completely out coached Stewart.

Two excellent performances to make the final. Real team effort as well, credit tonTim Wallace for getting the team playing like that after a very slow start to the tournament.

Great result over two legs. Slow improvement throughout the series. Looked like normal service is resumed early doors but credit where credit is due.
Well done Panthers.

Why bust a gut over 12 games when you have already made the semis π€£π€£
These two legs haven't suprised me in the slightest. What has suprised me is how easy panthers appeared to make it look. 1 goal conceded in 120 minutes .. that's far from being fortunate!
In these situations the better players always come through hence Candolosi

Its the Wallace way - start slow and by the end, the team look like world beaters. Its why next season, it's key to maintain a core who know how he works
