Nice timing Pidge...
You'll find with Forest while the owners have sorted the books side out they are still as clueless on the recruitment side.

Forest have structure now and are being ran like a proper football club since the days of the late Nigel Doughty and have improved on the pitch so you can discount them now. Oh no you can't. Fawaz mk II has struck!!! Are we in court with unpaid bills, are we in a embargo? NO Our owner made a ultimatum before Xmas..promotion or else... #ownerwithambition ... unlike Panthers!!!

One place and four points off the playoff places. Whichever way you dress it up, the 'Greek bloke' is as clueless (albeit for vastly differing reasons) as the 'Black bloke'

I expect Jokonovic to be announced in the next few days btw (he had a successful interview before he turned down stoke 😉)

I 'll give you a clue, a hell of a lot less than 50m , the secret? They were well managed that season. AK didn't achieve the owners targets by January 1st.

You have to say though Pidge it’s pretty typical of Nottingham sports clubs. Look at them... Panthers,County,Forest,Notts CC, Nottingham rugby, they aren’t exactly successful in the domestic season and most of them have more than their fair share of bad and poor management decisions. Not sure you can say the cricket isn't recently successful? T20 champs in 2017 One day cup champs in 2017 County champs 2005/2010 (D2 champs recently too) YB40 champs 2013 Consensus view that TB is one of the best grounds in the world to play at, even Henry Blofeld rates it as his favourite ground in the world. I'm struggling to think of a poor "management decision" that Notts have made? Wow a view from someone who obviously does not go to Trent Bridge very often. Last season we only avoided relegation due to the slow over rate of Lancashire. After some great wins e.g. Essex away we slumped dramatically. Yes a great first season for Peter Moores with 2 one day trophies. His appointment was long overdue as we had been underperforming for some time. We were getting wins early season against fellow strugglers to just avoid the drop for too many seasons and then into division 2 with a underperforming side. Notts have the best T20 rain of wins, but a poor finals performance. Poor management decisions !!!!!! Neil Edwards, Will Jefferson, Clive Rice as coach - 3 year contract and then sacked after a few months for starters. However their chairman is very approachable and their recruitment for this year with a top coach looks to put them back in the reckoning for real success, with Broad available for many games. The development of the ground has been exceptional - the only thing missing has been the cricket performance. Yes a top test match ground, which we will be excluded from for more county matches in 2020 silly 100 and which ECB in their wisdom has excluded for 2 Ashes series, where they win!

I do go, as much as I can, and am fully aware that Notts's performances have been somewhat "Jekyll and Hyde" over the last few seasons. That doesn't mean that the list of achievements is in any way false. Last season especially was a skin of the teeth job. Early season wins than inexplicable batting collapses when put under the mildest scoreboard pressure, on seeming roads of pitches. Clive Rice is a fair point, but it's hardly a litany, is it? The others were signings who delivered less than expected, alongside virtually all sports teams. I wonder regarding the "scoreboard pressure" issue though. It has been going on for a few years now. Guess we'll find out in 8 months...

cant see us getting any points out of this game. I rekon this is exactly the type of game we turn up and win. We'll probably make it look easy. 2 5 Panthers. Can I change this now. Nothing to do with how bad Panthere are. Yotes backed me up amd tonight proves happens when he predicts results. In all seriousness, as bonkers as it sounds I still wouldn't put it past Panthers.

Panthers to get it handed to them. Maybe Stewart will play tomorrow or is he still adjusting?

Yotes backed me up amd tonight proves happens when he predicts results. Outrageous. But I'm still backing them. It's almost more textbook after tonight's embarrassment.

I hope Panthers get stuffed 10-0 just to hear and read the drivel afterwards for the sheep.

This isn't going to be remotely close to a contest. Going to get absolutely torn to shreds. They're way better than Panthers could ever imagine to be. On & especially off the ice.

Based on tonight’s performance I hope that that we take plenty of lube tomorrow because we are likely to be in for a rough ride.
