On more than Evan Mosey, maybe... But is he on more than all our other players? 😂 Top top signing - best player in the league if he plays to his stats - is it too late for the title though? Think we’ll probably lose 25% of our games but not sure Giants will. Mind you, think you’re favourites for the end of year bash now lol Finally it’s certain we’re 4th now in the budget league 😉😂 Good question, you'll need one of your highly knowledgeable Devils' fans to advise I'm afraid. 4th best budget, yeah. I'm in absolutely no doubt at all. Panthers aren't winning the title, we're complete no threat to you or the Giants at all.

Which is why he's signed for us & not some overpaying outfit. Maybe. Good signing by you guys, as you certainly need something or someone to improve things, tough guy who in this league could really impress. Not sure why he has come to the EIHL straight from the NHL/KHL, Can’t be a moneything that’s for sure, still it’s good to see hopefully a top player playing over here. It's just down to contacts & him wanting to get back on the ice. His motivation after a few weeks on some of the UK ice pads will be interesting to measure.

If you believe 2 point Tony, it’s the most expensive Steelers team ever. Wonder where they rank overall?

4th best budget. Proven fact is that... Well as rumour has it that Messrs Black and Moran were furious about Mosey I’d probably not believe any info that comes from their direction myself. Met Steve King and Brian Parker whilst away for the CHL. They seemed very genuine in repeating their belief that we are 3rd/4th highest budget. Maybe they’re genuinely mistaken, maybe other teams are paying over the odds. Laughable. You casually dismiss anything that one ownership/management group says, but cheerfully say that you believe another one. Why? Because they sounded legit? Here's a tip... stay away from anything with the word 'investment' in it... if you want to keep a roof over your head! Owners/GMs/coaches... believe nothing, trust no-one. They may be one or two steps up from politicians (how do you tell when a politician is lying? - his/her lips are moving!) but not all that far...

Our forward lines are seriously stacked. With all now fit🤞 there should be plenty of goals. Just look at what it could look like if Billingsley is the one to stay out(Personally Id like to see him play). Guptill Hurtubise Rheault Henderson Bolduc Stewart Perlini Pither Kovacs Farmer Richard Betteridge Lacho. Thats just one set you could go with. Whatever Cherno does it time to settle them down and kick on now. Out of interest which import forward would you sit if you had to? swap Rheault and Kovacs.

Hurtubise or Kovacs. #21 has got the edge with his goalscoring and one-timer, #15 is a harder worker. Both disappear from games. The amount of points that Kovacs has? And split up the line with Guptill? Very risky for a team that often struggles to score at all.

I dont really like to critisise a player when they are putting points on the board but I do think Kovacs picks quite a few up due to Guptills brilliance. The way I see it is that Kovacs wil make a very simple pass and then Guptill comes up with some magic to score a goal. Kovacs then picks up a lot of cheap As. It's kind of the opposite of the Ling, Graham relationship. Graham picked up a lot of "easy" goals based on the magic of Lings pass. Perhaps I'm doing him(both him and Graham) a diservice, but for me his is an average player benefiting from playing with some real quality. To add to a point I made before, I dont think any of our forwards are bad players particularly, and when I say average I dont mean it as an insult. Simply about average for this league.

I think Kovacs is underrated. Im not saying hes a world beater, hes average a lot then will make a simple but very good play that results in goals. He needs to convert some of his chances though, he blows a lot of his own shots. I would also say he makes some poor desicions in the neutral zone sometimes which has cost us goals.

What's the odds on Stewart 'Pulling a Parisi' on us?
Worth a gamble, surely?

Is this signing of Stewart as amazing as it sounds ? I really hope he doesnt "do a Parisi" on us. We could do with things going our way just now.😊

When you have a player people say will still rip it up at 50% commitment you know what quality you are getting. However history tells you to wait and see what they do when they turn up and have been here a while. This guy is one of the best EIHL signings ever made. He really should be different class.

To do that they would have to lose no more than one more game until the end of the season. Even with Stewart they won’t do that. Cup and play offs though that’s a different matter.

Great signing, good player, solid point production in the NHL, can handle himself very well. Let’s hope he comes in with the same enthusiasm as Cam and he’ll be an instant hit!
Also very good for the league. I’m sure this will be news across North America as those who have come before have also done. Here’s hoping this isn’t his only stint with the panthers

It seems Simmsey is a teensy weensy bit jealous. He reckons Stewart is a “typical Panthers and Elite Prospects signing”.
Mmmm yes David ok...... you keep on thinking it ! 🙄
