Neil Black to host a Q&A with fans at The Salt Box on 21st February between 6 and 7 pm
Time for all you keyboard warriors to put your views over.
Probably a good opportunity for The Supporters Trust to make their presence known too.

Probably a good opportunity for The Supporters Trust to make their presence known too. We feel the presence of the proposed Supporters Trust has already had a positive impact. We welcome this move as the more communication there is between the club and the fanbase the better. The club will be formally invited to the open meeting on the 30th of March.

Great to hear and I will be sure to go too. Be interesting to see what fans have to say after such and awful league campaign.

Will GM re fund me my petrol money if I make the effort

This is a very smart move to appease a vocal minority, I like it.
I'd be very surprised if anything comes up here that hasn't been discussed when NB has done these kind of things before such as the panel he's been on at previous Playoff Weekends.

Good to see, hopefully he answers without sugar coating and hopefully some of the more vocal 'critics' show their nads and ask questions they've been posing on here, Facebook, twitter etc.. repeatedly!

I've got no hope of getting into Nottingham for 6 on a Tuesday night, but I hope those that do go ask him some good questions. Maybe the club spokeswoman could film it for watching back on Panthers TV?

Surprise, surprise...and just in time before the Trust gets going. The Trust should still continue to evolve in order to be the voice of fans. Talking to the club and creating a betetr existance for all.

As good a idea as it is. Is 1 hour enough time. You can't go into much depth with many questions in that time . Hopefully he doesn't dodge any juicy questions too

Any communication is better than nothing I guess.
I would imagine that the questions won't be totally open.
Anyone who wants to be at this could be, those that don't will make excuses. Same with anything like this really.

Why oh why are Panthers/Clan STILL not doing webcasts?? Why was there a 180 on the pledge at the last Clan Fans Forum (February 2012!) that Clan would stream games if they sold out games, only to not do so even when they did? (Clan had 11 straight sellouts the year they were chasing the title!) Why is Tony Smith still EIHL Chairman, and why has the issue been side-stepped? Just a couple for someone to throw in.

The point is that he has (or the "organisation" has) come up with answers before. If what he has said has not been born out, with time now is the opportunity to take him to task. A couple of things I would have put forward - which will might crop up. 1. I have heard the line in the past that if Panthers did use their financial muscle, they could well win the league, but it would not then be a competition. With 2 top 2 finishes since 2003 (?) - this one in the fullness of time does not hold water. 2. Four or Five of the roster have been attracted by university packages - a big incentive. This should have resulted in a really top roster. Was recruitment the problem or has been used to partially offset wages and produce more profit? The last word seems to be a priority with NB.

Are we using uni places correctly,as a way of paying less wages, instead of paying the going rate plus a uni deal as a cherry to get a top guy ?

With it being an Hour, I have a feeling it will be "pre-screend" questions only. that way they wont be too difficult for NB to answer as he will have pre-prepared the answers.

As I'm on the right shift I may just make the game and this beforehand. But having questions pre screened that's just false you want him answering questions off the cuff and straight John bull too

But having questions pre screened that's just false you want him answering questions off the cuff and straight John bull too If they are not screened, then I cant imagine getting a straight answer out of Neil on majority of subjects. On minor things maybe, League wider questions (Guilfords / MK entry etc) I can see him giving an answer, but still some level of avoidance. I can't go to the meeting (unless the let me rock up at 6:30) But can someone ask him his opinion on the Bear? Seriously though... The questions should be: Where does he priortise the league in comparison to the rest of the trophy's? Is 1 league title and 1 serious attempt in 10 years good enough? Has he seen the article about the blackhawks and live broadcasts? ( Article) and the important part of it Re Webcasts.

If they are it's pretty much a waste of time ! Also, given we only have an hour,I think we should stick to questions about Panthers as that's where our biggest problems lie.
