It does indeed say he won't play in Sheffield:
"Panthers look likely to again be without the injured trio of Jeff Dimmen, Geoff Waugh and David Clarke. New signing Jason Williams will miss Boxing Day, but the winger is set to debut at the NIC a day later."
As asked earlier, why?

There best be a good explanation on this if true else how could this organisation get any worse?

yep I understand that, but yet again the club are content to let us play at a disadvantage, just to let him play his first game at home? If he's here he plays, simple as, even if he's on reduced ice time an extra body is better than nothing. The fact remains that I, probably yourself and a hell of a lot of other Panthers fans will be making the journey up, even after the recent results that we have had to endure there, so the club should do everything that they can for us Home debut means his debut at home. His debut debut will be at Sheffield. well that's not how the Evening Post article reads

Thompson of South Yorkshire asking nicely.

Im excited by Williams. He obviously has loads of top level experience. But that fact that hes moved to a new job and country on Christmas eve. I hope this means he gonna give it his all. If he does he could be amazing in this league.

Looks fairly straightforward to me on the Panthers website <link>(I've highlighted the crucial points in red) "Clashes" (plural) against Sheffield, "including" a home debut. Seems fairly clear - should be playing straight away.

O/S indicates he will play, NEP indicates he won't - you pays your money and takes your chances, neither have a good record of printing the truth - would hope he does play - Merry Christmas

GM is thinking, lets feed him some duff info....... "That will teach him to write Corey's articles criticising the management". Lol It wouldn't be the first time either.

Another correction- Rick is the bench coach i.e. is not involved day in and day out - hence DC as assistant. Watching the bench Rick didn't seem to have much conversation with CN. Its a bit difficult to work out the dynamics there.

Off to a solid start. 2 Goals, both Game Winners and an Assist.
We owe McGrattan for the signing, doubt Corey or anyone would've even spoken to Williams if we didn't have Big Ern's influence.
Looking forward to seeing what more Williams can do when he's settled down and gotten used to his surroundings. Very promising start.

Not having seen Williams, do you think he could lead you to big things? Steeler's fans seem to think he's pretty good.
