His first name translates to "Henry" according to Google Translate from that article above.

Seriously? Complaints? The guy looks a decent goaltender, granted ita from video. Some people are never happy! What sort of goaltender were you expecting? A young hotly rated guy comes in as back up and we seem to now have a link with a top team and people aren't pleased?

It could have been a goalie that played in the NHL last year and there still would have been people finding faults in the signing.

I could understand the concern if we'd signed a 32 year old with nothing of much note on his CV. The reality is he's 21 and just starting out. But starting out at a decent level. Any signing of that age wont have proven pedigree and therefor will be a wait and see. However there is a chance for bags of potential and to be an absoloute star. Wait and see for a different reason. Perfect signing for this role in my view. Absoloutly the way we should be going.

3rd goalie am sure not through choice but necessity due to injury, am sure ALL our competitors would replace an injured import netminder with another import netminder in the same circumstances but not necessarily choose the "cheap" option.. Would you say Marek Pinc was expensive last year? I believe the intention was always to have 2 import goalies in tandem way before Mikka Wiikman got injured. To be fair Pidge,Sheffield did last year exactly what we've just done, because both teams had to. I think what Tex is getting at is that both teams signed a replacement Czech goalie......we have signed a young lad, whereas they signed the ex Czech national team goalie. Of the two,Pinc would be easily the more expensive. Who is the better goalie remains to be seen, because with hindsight Pinc was over the hill, but Sheffields intent has to be seen as the greater.

It's different, we don't "have too" we are just having 3 goalies all season, not replacing anyone, so it's a different scenario.. Kudos to neilson and the panthers for bringing him in

To be perfectly honest I don't know one way or the other its just on past experience involving the panthers they don't spend a penny when an halfpenny will do...and even then it seems they would want a receipt so they can claim the tax back...
