Does anyone know which is the home, away and cross conference jersey? I'd hope black was our home jersey, yellow away and white cross conference

Black should be our main colour. Always was historically.

Does anyone know which is the home, away and cross conference jersey? Sounds like we'll be wearing whatever's shown up

Do the new jerseys have anything to commemorate the 70th anniversary?
I know last years jersey had something, but we formed in the 1946/47 season (and celebrated the 60th anniversary in 06/07)...

My EXACT thoughts and criticism last season....but I guess not as they'd make themselves look silly. Website and history is not the clubs forte.

In fairness to them, last season was our 70th season (well, it wasn't because we missed 20 years in the middle but...), which is what I think they said.
For the 60th I think we wore those special jerseys the once, on a date that we would've been 60.
You could ask for consistency in celebrating our increasing age I suppose.

I believe our first game was in November 1946. In 06/07 we played the full season with a commemorative logo (circle with '60 years' on) as well as the special black & white jerseys. Seems a bit weird as there was quite a lot made about the 60th anniversary but little about the 70th.

I didn't remember the patch in 06/07, but again it deep depends how you look at it - you've reached the stage of being 60, or this is our 60th year. In November 2016 we'll be 70, but that'll obviously be at the end of our 70th year.
They've done a bit of "platinum" stuff, like the year book last time out I think was branded up with all that.
Why they've celebrated after the date before, and celebrated the actual season for the 70, is probably down to Advanced Moranomics that we're too thick to understand.
Celebrating the actual date would make more sense though, given the big gap we have. Gloss over that though.

Just noticed on twitter (Thanks Jono) that our jerseys are £10 more expensive than Braehead's who are using the same manufacturer. Panthers really do take the fans for idiots sometimes don't they?

We're using a different style. Warrior do various different types of jersey, some different materials and different technologies etc.. So i'd assume we went for a better quality one than Clan. That's what i make from Clan's response anyway.

But yes I'm sure that, despite our fans who went to the launch commenting on their poor quality, ours are well worth £10 more than Braehead's. Come back Hicksy, all is forgiven.

Fair enough to Braehead for responding. If what they said is true then I retract my statement.

With the jerseys this season appearing to be cheap to get as we keep giving them away surely the club would have been able to do either a Hockey Fights Cancer jersey or a Military jersey even if it was just for warm up and then auction them off with funds going to either charity? We really need to up our game on that front.
