Having seen them in person the pictures actually make them look better than they do. The quality is awful, £70 absolutely no chance. 100% agree. They look horrible up close. Ball well and truly dropped on the jerseys. I was going to gt a new one this year. Havnt bought one for about 5 years, but there's no way im getting one of these.

They look pretty good I think but not 70 quids worth of good I'm afraid. I'll wait and pick up one of the inevitable charity ones. At least the cash goes to a good cause.

I must say, they are wearing the yellow uniform tonight and it looks really smart...

They look OK, I quite like that the adverts on the black one are done in gold/mustard to match.
I won't be buying one, but I wouldn't have been anyway, so that's no judgement either way. £70 does seem rather severe tbh, considering you'd expect them to be easier to manufacture than the CH ones.

Who was the sleazy guy in the blue suit in the shop? Kept popping out every time someone looked at the shirts promising better quality if they preordered? It was like a cringey young Gary!

Well he was talking to Neil Black in the shop so he must be a somebody, don't know who though.
Have to saying having seen the players in the tops they don't look that bad but still stand by what I said earlier, they are terrible up close haha

So it turns out the things they had to show the fans who showed up today, weren't the actual things they'll receive?

Panthers have put on Twitter that the badges will be appliqué (stitched) which is better I feel personally.

It'll look like a patch quilt by the time it's done. Why would they have the logos/sponsors stitched on whilst the actual patern/colours of the jersey remain printed? It'll be weird, gotta be all stitched or all printed in my eyes, but i'll have to see the actual jerseys and then say for certain.

Having worked in the textile industry for many years I suspect these shirts will have been costed at substantially less than £10 each to manufacture. £70 is a massive mark up.

They sound like the Clan ones from last year. The sponsors are sublimated but the Panthers logo is a stitched transfer not sure what its made from but have seen similar on NHL jerseys I have customised. The Clan shirts last year were OK not as good a fabric as CH but OK and were better than the Playoffs jersey in my opinion. The Clan players jersey was of a better quality fabric and the players name and numbers were stitched on back. The Panthers names and numbers also look stitched for the players jersey.

Dropped into the Arena to pick up a programme after work. Saw the jerseys and wasn't impressed. Far too bland a product each season, little change etc...

I don't mind printed. I actually preferred the feel on my CHL jersey to the usual CH ones. However £70 is a joke and the design is pretty much the same each year.
I know people didn't think much to the devils new kit, but at least it is something different.

I thought both Panthers and Clan jerseys were awful. They are both too bland. Definitely not worth £70, but then even if our jerseys were amazing I do not think they are worth £70.

Just thought i'd let people know, Clan, who also use Warrior, are yet to recieve their Black & White (Alternate & Away) jerseys from Warrior.
I've been to all the Pre-Season games so far and we too, haven't used the white or black jerseys so i'd assume they aren't here either. This is likely also to be the reason behind no replica's on sale yet too.
So as i'd stated previously, to many people's dislike, this isn't Panthers' fault.

It is their fault, they should have ordered them earlier ! They should work a season in hand,or at least half a season, last time i looked there was no reason why you couldn't do that if you tie your sponsors up early enough. Stop making excuses for them. Retail shops don't wait until the summer to order their winter stock, they are working a whole year in front at least.

Retail shops don't wait until the summer to order their winter stock, they are working a whole year in front at least. Ordered them earlier?! I'm sure they ordered well in advance and that its on Warrior for neither team having any set besides their home one. It takes time to work out deals and the produce the products. Sponsors are coming in throughout the season and no team would risk getting their jerseys 2 months early and settle with the sponsors they have. Say we signed a huge name player who had endorsement deals, for all we know they might be interested in sponsoring us too.. If our jerseys are already made that's a lot of money down the drain. Quite comical comparing retail shops with sports teams. Retail do stuff based on seasons, same crap each year with a couple new colours and designs. They don't have companies sponsoring their clothing do they? Ordering a year in advance would be ridiculous. Warrior/Rhino/Kurki Sport are probably the only sustainable ones used in the league.. What if CH went bust mid-season? We'd be right in the feacal matter then. Teams will never, ever order their jerseys before July, never. We've had our deal with Warrior since mid-July, Clan have been with them for over a year.. Neither have more than their home jerseys.. Yet it's Panthers' fault? Your Panthers bashing has hit a new, even more ridiculous height

Mmmm...."same crap each year with a couple of new colours and designs",I'm desperately trying to think where I might have heard that before ! As for anybody going bust, that could be anybody, just because they're bigger companies than CH doesn't mean they couldn't go bust. Good job we didn't order them through BHS eh,they were quite big !
Still do not see why they couldn't have been ordered earlier, yes sponsors etc take time,as I had already said myself, but leaving it until July to order is asking for late delivery. Perhaps if GM didn't disappear to France for half the summer, maybe we would sort these deals out earlier !

Still do not see why they couldn't have been ordered earlier... Guess it depends on when Warrior became sponsors/business partners.

The deal was in place Mid-July latest. It's more than just GM working away and he doesn't just swan off and turn his emails and phone off all summer. Clan have only their home jerseys, no away or alternate and no replicas (besides the originals). It's not a Panthers issue, it's Warrior. I'm sure they delivered very late to Clan last year too!

Didn't learn the lesson of the previous year then did they, should have made it a first condition of the deal with Warrior that they delivered on time. Considering the previous season ended early April, you're saying it took them three months to do a deal with Warrior and left themselves only two months to get the shirts sorted, manufactured, shipped and into stock. Not the best piece of scheduling is it !
