While Valabik is playing there's always plenty of man advantage opportunities. I just hope to god the meatball doesn't give us a repeat of the Sjogren incident, he tried more than once at our place Sunday. Can you still put in a DOPS review for Saturday's play on Desbien and would you?

Tbh IF panthers make it to final think I'll rather they were playing Blaze rather than Devils, Both panthers and blaze are similar this season but both have better record against each other on their own ice Plus who doesn't want another game where we can wind up Stewart

Easy win for the Panthers in the semi final - Fife had to play the game of their lifes JUST to beat Braehead who had a shockingly bad performance in both legs. I would rather face Devils in the final than Coventry, that's for sure. Saying that, Coventry are similar to Panthers in that they are inconsistent, they can pull off an amazing performance one week and be terrible the next. I'm going for a Panthers vs Devils final. If the GOOD Panthers turn up, we will most probably walk away with the trophy too. Did you actually watch both games? I'd love to see any other team put more than 4 past an on fire Chris Holt. Braehead weren't terrible, it was a hard fought pair of games and the first game really came down to discipline and hard work. I guess you haven't seen your results against us this season, two wins for you in OT/SO, and we've both won in regulation 5-2, sounds like an easy tie then. Flyers aren't a pushover and complacency like that will lose you the tie. If it does go to a Devils v Panthers final, that trophy will have 'Cardiff Devils' written on it, they're bound to be favourites. Of course you actually need to get to the final first... Why do you think if it's a Panthers Devils final 'their name will be written on the trophy'? Did you watch the CC final? Utter domination throughout, and they've been average recently. Panthers fans constantly get stick for our team being a cup specialist, and yet you think the perennial bridesmaids in Cardiff (to us normally) are a dead cert?

So all the teams who qualified played their home leg first. Not quite the advantage playing the second leg at home as some think.

Team who plays home first = 1 lot of travel before the game. Team who plays home second = 2 lots of travel before the game.
Very canny choice by Cardiff at the weekend I think.
Also good of Panthers to travel over the day before. What a difference it made!
Anyway, onto the weekend...
Who knows?! Will be down to the 4 netties IMO.
I don't really rate any of them but they can be all good, sometimes great, on their day.

Possibly best to contact the league to try and get a DVD of it. Whatever you do though, don't ask Braehead for a copy. Has a few minutes missing.

Devils v Panthers final for me.
Can't pick a winner, but i just wish it wasn't Tyson Marshs last game.....that makes me uneasy. Plus, unlike in the CC final,Devils would have the advantage of being the home team.

For the second year in a row there will be a fans forum on the Sunday morning of playoff finals weekend from 11am.
EIHL chairman Tony Smith and directors Neil Black and Todd Kelman will be joined by referee Tom Darnell to answer questions from the audience.
Entry is free, but there are a limited number of seats available and so if you would like to go then please email media@eliteleague.co.uk
Please include your name, team and an idea of the questions you would like to ask and also if you need more than one seat.
The event will be streamed on Elite League radio, which you will be able to listen to live online or later via podcast.

Congrats on the CLAN with their PURPLE PLAY-OFFS gathering.
Need to add. Of our TWO PO games thus far. Has there been ONR PO shirt used.?
Is there only one or a darker colour that can be used?

Good luck. May the best team win. See you all down there. I'll be the bloke loitering around the foyer in a shirt and tie sorting the raffle and 50/50 out.

Think we need to bump up the excitement..... How nice to see the majority of Panthers fans wearing the same colour, doesn't it look good?
