What are the chances that GB can host a stage next time? Hopefully we can get some really good dual nationals in the side soon, which could get us over the line.

Forget the refs... team GB just ain't very good, and there's not much sign of improvement in the near future.

What are the chances that GB can host a stage next time? Hopefully we can get some really good dual nationals in the side soon, which could get us over the line. And get a better coach too. Someone who watches the players weekly not a epl one who sees them now and again

Can't argue with you there Pidge.
There was a lesson tonight for anybody who thinks having Brits over imports in the EIHL is a winning formula. Quality imports are what win EIHL games,not average Brits. That Italian team was full of quality players from some of top Euro leagues and boy did it show.

Yes they had a few stand outs that were excellent. Bit worrying on how old a lot of the best Brit players are now too.

The difference is like chalk & cheese, its like when Elite league clubs go and compete in Europe this always going be a problem, its the style of play and with Euro ref's!!!!!!
I've looked quite a bit of Champion league and Swedish hockey and it maybe fast and a better standard, its not very entertaining to watch IMO
