Good, screw them. We got jobs on the line here. Winning over £, good to see! Serves them right for being greedy, 2 legs from the quarters is milking it already.

It's brilliant reading some of the bleating/blowing smoke up Simms' ass from Up North on social media. Teddies well and truly out of prams

The fact the challenge cup semi finals are still being played in February is the biggest joke of all. This competition should be over and done with by Xmas as it used to be when it was the B&H cup

I don't know what Steelers are moaning about.....you would think they would be grateful that at last they have a game that will actually sell out Ice Sheffield !!!!!!
Hahahaha

How many sports would you get a club official going off on one without getting punished. Seriously embarrassing and their fans are lapping it up big time.
No webcast = more ££££ they lose out on . Awesome way to run a business.
I think the lack of away support will spur our guys on to do a job in that rink

God I hope we make the final. Can you imagine the bloke if they knock us out.
Having said that, after the cutting the nose off to spite the face antics suggested around the webcast, maybe they will influence the arena to give us 0 allocation of tickets for the final. Lose thousands more ££££s just to spite us Fatherless people.

It may come back to bite us yes. But for once i have to applaud Panthers for sticking to their guns and doing what gives us the best chance to win, well done GM.
Forget crowds, forget money for once and just always do whatever you can to win. Why should we give another team any help or advantage,i have never seen Steelers do us any favours !

The only problem I can see is that the Steelers are a part time arena team. If they didn't have the Ice Sheffield bus shelter on the go it wouldn't be an issue at all.

No controversy here at all, we are entitled to play the second leg at home and booked an appropriate date.
Sheffield regularly use ice Sheffield mid week when the arena isn't available.
Surely this is BAU?

Supposedly the biggest team in the league, playing in a 1500 seat arena, ha

Mozzy, I can't see what's on at the arena as some of the things here at my work are blocked but looking at the main website the Tuesday night is free could you enlighten please. What I can't understand is tho' (& excuse me if its already on here somewhere) the dates were released last night by both parties? but surely if Panthers announced this they would already have had the agreement of dates between the two clubs, you just cant release dates without first finding out that your apponents can use that date. Yeah this is what I find confusing. Panthers announced dates almost as soon as the hooter sounded in Braehead. That means the dates must have already been agreed with Sheffield (and presumably between Steelers and Clan too). Is there any chance this is Sheffield realising they will get better value for money on a Tuesday by playing at Ice Sheffield, but using it as an excuse to try and get the long-dead rivalry going again? Particularly given that people say Sheffield arena looks to be free on the Tuesday night, AND the rules that everyone can see contradict us getting second leg home advantage. Nothing would surprise me in this league.

No online ticket sales, season ticket holders for steelers get a week to book before general sale. Then any remaining tickets from sheffield box office.
Good luck if you were planning on going!

Just had a look at Steeltalk.
Between themselves and Simms they are surely the club with the lowest IQ average.
Some of it is barely legible and the logic, beyond belief.
Still, might spice up the rivalry a bit.

I hope a large number of our fans queue outside their arena and buy as many general sale tickets as possible.
Then periscope the game.

I wonder if now might be a good time to tell Steelers that next year we are claiming our rights to have the Boxing Day game in Nottingham.
After all, they must owe us the next four years at home and it's only fair !!!!

What makes me laugh is how they have portrayed themselves on Twitter. For a "professional" team they look like spoiled little brats that are airing there dirty laundry because they can't get their own way.
"Well we have given up fixtures before for teams" AND YOUR POINT IS.? What have they done for us ... Ever? Seriously get over it. Oh and don't make this league look even more worse on Twitter next time. Disgusting.

Who cares? Such a massive case of self entitlement up the M1. Like a spoilt child having a tantrum, just ignore them and eventually they will quiet down when they realise the hockey world doesn't give two hoots.

As much as I would hope we would be the "bigger men" in all this it would make me chuckle if we did all we could to make it a no Steeler zone for the second leg. Big campaign to drive ticket sales. Block out blocks 1,2 & 3 until the rest of the arena is sold out, then open it up. If the rest doesn't sell out fill them will free school tickets. Even if they did buy tickets they'd have to be spread far and wide. Would love to see the Twitter reaction then.
Eeerrrrrmmmm....wait. That may mean I get 1 sat next to me. Scrap that idea. Never mind.

Restrict away sales to Block 1 only, and to ensure that only away fans are sitting in the block ("in response to complaints raised by visiting fans about Panthers fans sitting in the away block"), make the tickets only available on the day at the Box Office to people wearing Steelers colours.
"Petty tit for tat? No, just trying to ensure that its only Steelers fans in the block...for your comfort."

Don't forget the boycott though. Those who said they would not pay again until the issues they raised were addressed.....
I'm guessing that will be conveniently forgotten though by many.

It's false contravery to boost the rivalry and ticket sales. Expecting your 'hated rivals' to give up home advantage in a cup semi final? Doesn't sound like the biggest rivalry in Europe to me.... More importantly, what is the leg room like at ice shuff?

Simple really, close the away blocks until a few days before the game, then open them up again for in person sales only as the phone line and website are undergoing "essential maintenance"
It won't happen for two reasons.
1. The arena won't agree to it. 2. Despite our many faults, our club doesn't do spiteful.
