Are you just trying to wind people up Pantherman66 or are you just blind to the facts ! As for ego's,who in their right mind would not want Panthers to win,if we didn't want them to win then why would we be asking for more to be done to help the team. It should be the people who are happy with Panthers going backwards who are being accused of not wanting to win. Top work.

I am sure there are a few on here that would be a little bit self satisfied if we failed, otherwise their out poorings against the club/personnel are a very hollow. Sorry ted I forgot I wasn't allowed an opinion on this FORUM, and I bow to your inside knowledge of the thoughts of all who post on here. Sorry, I must have missed the bit where you had an opinion on something? Just your usual whining at people that actually do have an opinion and may question the club. Do feel free to join in.

iginla, you pointed out to everybody that whoever put that schedule together was an idiot or something along those lines. I do not try to wind people up, but if you do not agree with my OPINION and it winds you up then that is your problem. I agree with you that there is a lot of things that could be improved to do with the club, but the chances of these things happening are remote until a change in personnel, so to constantly bang on about it is tiresome, but being a forum that is your right to do so.

I stand by my earlier thoughts that it was a stupid game schedule Pantherman 66.
You should know this club of ours by now, they will only do what they have to and only react when they sense unrest. Whatever people think of this forum or believe that it makes no difference, just look at the many situations, call it coincidence if you like, when things have been done or commented on right after the fans have kicked off on here.
What has been the hottest topic on here lately......two things,Neilson changing bloody lines and us getting a new goalie. So what has happened,Neilson is now in the evening post about changing lines and we finally got a goalie.
Any team, business or other organisation who do not take notice of their fans or customers is quite simply dumb. The difference with Panthers is,they will take notice eventually when things get hot,but they are far too arrogant to ever admit it !

It's not JUST PANTHERS who are guilty of this. It's only because us fans focus on Panthers as they are our team more than any other (sports) team !!

I would hate to think we support a club that make decisions based on a tiny proportion of disgruntled fans' thoughts, but if this is the case why not go for broke and protest that we would like Datsyuk to play for us.

Tiny portion of disgruntled fans?? The boos ringing around the NIC during the Coventry game were loud, so if that was a 'tiny' portion of fans they certainly made some noise. I personally didn't boo, but I was screaming inside with frustration for sure. You then weaken your argument further with your flippant remark, so I won't even comment on it!!!!

Thanks!

Lets look logically at the issue about the games schedule. Would Panthers accept this if other options were possible? We are at the mercy of what has been booked at the arena and sometimes have little option but to take what we are given. We had that problem last season in the play offs - seems a long time ago, but I seem to recall v Braehead? I understand that the team had basically run out of gas as they had an extra match sandwiched in and had to accept what day was available.

Madolora's replacement at Valpellice is rumoured to be Neil Conway...

Part of the reason I stopped getting a season ticket is so I didn't have to go to games through this period around Christmas where we always run short benched and lose a lot. It happens every year. If the club can't commit to a full season at full strength why should I?

Am I the only one on here who feels the players deserve more of the blame for bad results. It's fine blaming the owner / management for not signing replacements for injured players but from what I can see the Panthers have spent a lot more this season. Two more Brits, one being another GB international. The imports being a good deal better than last years even though we started with one less. With the quality and depth we have even with the injuries we should still have got better results over the last month or so. For example we should not of lost to Coventry the players were very poor. With the squad we have even with injuries we should still have won at least four more games.Just blaming the lack of ambition of the owners and managementis is letting the players off the hook.

With the squad we have even with injuries we should still have won at least four more games.Just blaming the lack of ambition of the owners and managementis is letting the players off the hook. First Cov try game yes we had everyone to pull off a victory. However losing Dimmen pushing us to 5 at the back end is a tall ask combined with a back up in net and Coventry could smell blood and took their chances. With 5 at the back we switched two or three guys to double shift and that alone takes some sting out of them and with Mosey being aggressive through all three zones it can lead to a lot of work for a depleted team. Also with switchovers it disrupts partnerships that have been together a long time now. But in that regard it's hard to try and prepare for a game and for Corey to somehow get a guy in on less than 24hrs notice. But you have to look at the big picture here Miika hasn't been right for a month and management knew it and so did everyone else, Schultz was out for a long period of time and we had people missing odd games. It's the management that dropped the ball not giving us a full quota in the first place to then not replace guys when we're theoretically a man down anyway. We brought in Lawrence Ling and Hardy in but they weren't cover they were additions and it's cost us points in the long run. We earn enough and have the ability to get guys in so why won't we do it? It would have been no more than 5k a week more to get temps in. This "waiting for the right guy" nonesense doesn't fly either when you consider the length of time we always choose to wait.
