Another 2 for the "Dan Green will want that one back" collection.
I've seen some shocking periods in the last few years but that's right up there.

This could end up being a classic, remembered for years to come. Or, it could be a car crash

Never mind. Another full(ish) house to keep the money coming in and another shirt sale to come. #kerching So the only way to get Panthers be champions again is if nobody goes to their matches, or buy their merchandise aye? That might work. My mates & I were thinking of watching (all) the games in January...now we're wondering if we should bother with any.

Panthers scored 2 goals. Macmillan gets the first and Clark gets the second.

Final score 5-3 to Coventry.
Credit to the team for coming back after an awful first period. However the problem persists - cannot go down by multiple goals in the first and expect a comeback will get the win.

Best team won fair and square. Blaze take four points off us.
Forum rules prevent me from putting what I really think.

Panic button officially pushed in my mind now. Im so disappointed in Panthers the last couple of months. No team has a right to win but with the quality of player and depth we have this season we should be forcing teams to have to play well to get points out of us. But we dont! We just switch off for large parts of games and gift teams leads. We constantly give ourselves an uphill battle.
When this team was signed Corey said he had a vision of a team that would pile endless preasure with every line. But you cant do that if we keep switching off and giving up soft goals.
It will take a huge change in form for us to mount a title run now. Before anyone says that we're not that far behind or whatever, just look at our run in! We have so many big teams to play, i just cant see it happening. We should have taken 7-10 more points over the last 2 months than we have, and then i would say it'll still be tough.
Its a real shame to because i think on paper this is one of the best panthers teams we've had in recent years. But it really has come apart at the seems. If Corey is going to prove his worth as a coach nows the time.

Well that was a disgrace, said a week ago we can't play 5 games in 7 days without a net minder. We have and we have been punished. Let's be honest Coventry were very poor but have won because the best supported and should be resources team has gone in with no goalie and 4 D. No disrespect to Green and Oakford but they shouldn't be icing for a team with aspirations. The last month we have shown we have none. Players, not blaming too much, guys like Green are performing at the expected level. Corey, maybe less line changes but again looking for a spark. Powers that be are killing this club!

We should never have been playing short for so long. Schultz needed a replacement and we never got one. Wiikman hasn't been right for a few weeks and look what happens. Green isn't up to it, nice guy and all but not a first choice.
Not sure what has happened to Lacho, Bombach has been invisible and not sure what Oakford has to do to get some regular shifts.
For me, at the end of the season we need to say thank you and goodbye to Corey. He's been fabulous in parts, winning us the league was amazing but we all to often fall short. This season was 1 too many, nice to give him a testimonial but he needs to go now
Been an up and down 10 years but we need a fresh start I think

Panthers just seem willing to gamble and spawn a few wins with a short bench. I have no idea how easy or hard it is to get players in short notice, but I do know it's happened before.
It's year after year of the same story. But year after year we all keep going back and expecting different.
I've been watching the Panthers since 96 and had season tickets at various points. There's been seasons where I've only missed a couple of away games. This year I've been to 3 games in total.
That doesn't put me in the greatest position to comment on the teams performances what I'm trying to point out is that I've gone from a hardcore travelling fan to a stay at home webcasting one.
This is solely down to the way panthers operate. Season after season I've pumped money into the club and fuel into my car. I've seen nothing back as a fan and I'm so annoyed with their attitude.
If fans stayed away would there be changes? If they were ambitious things would be very different than they are now.
You can almost write the article for the panthers site yourself. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce that they are looking to bring in new players tomorrow.
Pretty pointless post as I just typed and it turned to rant.

I dont want panthers starting from square 1 again with a rookie coach. I do agree about schultz though. It was obvious he was going to be out for ages and he needed covering.

Well that was fun. The lack of injury cover has done for us. We lost to a very average team with a great nettle. No lack of effort on our part but you can't give away 4 goals in the first period and expect to win against Stewart.
