Unfortunately I never saw Randall play but it will be great to a legend at the big game. Might spur the players on a bit more maybe.

There used to be a guy in the old arena, who sat in the block behind the goal who would always slag him off.

Fairly important game this afternoon then.
What a funny, frustrating season it's been so far.
Hopefully things will start to fall into place before it too late.

A win would be s huge boost, a defeat would be a blow. Neither would define our whole season. Too many games left to play and lots of strange results across the league.

It is a very funny up and down league this year. After being run off my feet yesterday, going to enjoy this one with a beer in front of the telly.

I'm afraid I can't see beyond Braehead now for the league title.
They have 28 games to play, but only 8 of those are against teams in our conference, the rest are against the weaker teams in the Gardiner Conference.

Regards Doom Dundee and Edinburgh can't be classed as weak teams this year, they have the ability to tear anyone apart and i don't see Braehead sweeping them for the rest of the year. It's Cardiffs to lose at this point but it has been a very funny old year this time round, nobody can say it hasn't been entertaining

Dundee and Edinburgh are starting to dip, Manchester don't have the depth and Fife don't travel well. The southern teams will continue to drop points against each other. My dark horse are Belfast, best away record in the league, replicate that at home and they could do very well.

If they win today my money is on Sheffield for the title but I desperately hope that we can start putting those "better team on the night" performances into actual goals and start a winning run again.

I think our results will be good if / when we ever get to full strength. Unfortunately it might be too late for the league by then.

At full strength would the squad we have now win the league?

At full strength would the squad we have now win the league? With everything going our way yes. It's all about when you don't have a full squad as every team has to cope with. Start playing catch up now against what I see as the stronger teams and I am not so confident.

That's the worst period I've ever seen from Steve Lee. Absolute liability

Hopefully Steve lee is out for a while with that hit. Either that or keep him 20 yards from the puck.

Seriously? yeah not that I want him to be injured but we cannot win the league with him giving the puck away the whole time.

According to the commentators, Kolnik has 2+10 for checking to the head yet the player had a lower body injury. Along with some of the other calls (yesterday and today) I really do find Darnell a complete and utter arse.

'Checking to the head' of the femur... Ah I see. I didn't realise it was that specific in the rule book...
