Maybe the BBC might follow it up from the relegation round. Not being rude here about the situation but it might focus more on games we'd compete in more. There is no relegation round any more... 16 teams in 2 groups of 8, 7 games for each team. The bottom team of each group gets relegated - that's it. Unless one of the teams in 15th/16th place happens to be hosting it the following year, then 14th gets the mucky end of the stick as the future host cannot be relegated. So... Nottingham/Sheffield 2020? World fabulous.

Back onto topic...
Another question for Chris Ellis, if there's time. Any funny anecdotes from behind the scenes in Budapest that haven't been plastered over social media already?

Yes, I didn't check and recall its less of a hassle these days. Still think 16 in the top group is too much since they increased it. Last time we were 12th of 12. Imagine that , we were ranked 12 bar the obvious positioning previous years effecting points system now that ranks teams.

Exactly the reason Neilson should have gone much earlier, because he never had the balls to cut players !

Was the fact there was no comment from Paul on Shalla intentional or not? Lol

to be honest i think quite a few of those reports are very generous considering the league campaign was effectively over at xmas (.....again) and we spent the majority of the post xmas period at around 7th, this imho is one of the reasons CN should have gone then not wait till the end of the season...

TCW ladies and gents, any reason the usual ‘out of 10’ ratings are omitted as they help give some context to the written report. (apologies if I’ve missed them)

Genuinely would like to hear season reviews from Cageites for the players and a summary to put alongside the TCWers...

THE FAN SURVEY...Will any conclusions be published. Yes there will, we had over 400 responses though so it’s taking a while to be worked through. Hopefully within the next four weeks we’ll have everything ready to publish.

Hopefully within the next four weeks we’ll have everything ready to publish. It won't be that long. I finished the numbers this afternoon so I've just got to do the written bits to go around them. Shouldn't be anymore than a fortnight. Probably less.

Certainly something wrong with that male/female split in the TCW survey. There is no way there are twice as many men than women at Panthers games. Looking around the arena it sometimes seems like there are actually more women than men.

Is it a representation of the Panthers fan base or the TCW listeners. Probably more the latter but what can you do? There's nothing wrong with the figures they just represent a particular subset of the fan base.

But if I was the TCW crew I’d be very worried why we wern’t reaching out more to the females of the Panthers fan base. Why do blokes prefer us I’d be thinking ! 🤣

Or maybe the women who listen just didn't bother filling in the questionnaire.
