Or maybe the women who listen just didn't bother filling in the questionnaire. Nah,it’s obvious. They need some decent male totty on the TCW panel. 😂 Is this another pitch for them to have you on the show? Your dulcet tones will not only tell them all where they've been going wrong all these years, but also bring the ladies of Nottingham flocking?

They had their chance and didn’t take it. Not only would it have greatly improved the TCW male totty, but Jono would have needed more megabytes or whatever on his server thing to cope with demand if I had gone on the show ! 🤣

Broadband infrastructure has improved a fair bit recently, but I agree transmitting your ego down there would've been too much for it. Could've brought the nation to a standstill. Jono et al took one for society.

I feel the women spectators in sport subject is really quite an interesting one to explore. On the cage, 90 percent of posts are from males. However, that doesn’t represent the demographic at Panthers as Iginla says. Is that because women are more emotionally mature and can see the game as what it is in its purest form: entertainment? Or is it because they dont have the same emotional attachment? Or is it one of the many others, such as testosterone in men to want to beat others, that contributes to this?
I’m not saying any of my views are the correct answer but it would be interesting to know what goes off. I talk about hockey to women frequently and for the most part have the same passion to win

It certainly never ceases to amaze me how many females there are in a Panthers crowd. I wouldn’t even be surprised if there were more women than men.

I've always found hockey to have a much better split of males to females. I've often wondered if this is what lends hockey to a more friendly atmosphere? or conversely does the friendly atmosphere attract more ladies than say football?
For one I've never had anyone at the hockey lean into my ear and wonder "how you can put up with bringing your missus to the game?" which I have at football before. Do people hate their spouses that much? anyway I'm rambling.

I had to cut down the number of games I went to because of 'the harrassment from women'...I wish....or was that 'the missus elbow started to be a bit of a pain.
It would be a poor game to go to without it being a familt affair. Not taken my boy (one and a half now)to a game but it will come.....Oh, and take the other half as well.

The 2018 TCW Panthers fans survey is now live with the results. Many thanks to Paul Balm for pulling it all together and to all those who took part (over 400). The results can be found on the link below. wp.me/P6zbpB-1h1

I'm pretty surprised some people thought last season was "great".

I'm pretty surprised some people thought last season was "great". Never mind surprised...I’m absolutely amazed anybody thought it was “great”. Some people must live extremely low expectation lives if they thought last season was even average. Take the CHL jaunt out of it and it was shocking !

Some people must live extremely low expectation lives if they thought last season was even average. Take the CHL jaunt out of it and it was shocking ! With a dispassionate look at it, though, effectively joint 3rd place in a league of 12 isn't actually all that bad? That's not my view, but it's hard to see how that can be "not even average"? Panthers have hardly been like Celtic the last 5 years have they? The "problem" for many is the high expectations, just as much as the few people who clearly have low expectations (or are just happy to be entertained on a Saturday night). Yes, I wouldn't score last season as "great" but neither was it "poor". It'd be interesting to have an unbiased fan score every game out of 10 throughout the year, then see what the average score was at the end of the season. No retrospective changes allowed, score each game on its merits. Last year, we'd have probably got some 10s in October, and some zeros in December (you'd have to stipulate no negative scores...) probably ending up around 6 or 7 on average?

Jinman should be there. Drioun was a exceptional player even though he was disappointing 2nd time round.
