Sorry I didn't turn up last night, funds suddenly became very tight. Thanks to Nottinghamshire Constabulary. Second worst performing force in the country but still find time to hide up someones driveway with a speed camera. Not to worry though, I'm sure those hockey fans whose cars were broke into around Snienton last night will understand. Getting punished for breaking the law...whatever next? Missing the point completely. Officially pathetic performance. They pursue motorists with unseemly vigour and yet steet crime, burglary etc is given lip service. ::)Oh look my rolling eyes work as well. Just checking because I find their use quite pathetic.

I enjoyed it - apart from the result. The game had everything. Thought Simoes had his best game for a while, and we did most things reasonably well. Yet again our mistakes were punished, and Rasto didn't have his best game.
I was also frustrated by the delay, but I gather there were some 800 walk ups; I hear a significant number were newbies, and I think they would all have left wanting to come again, so the delay was worth it in that respect.

Yes and no. If I were coming for the first time, I would be totally unimpressed if the event failed to start at the published time. It smacks of incompetence and amateurishness. That would tarnish any favourable impression of the event itself and the organisation putting it on. Admittedly the problem is most likely with the box office rather than the club but surely, under its contract with the Panthers, the NIC has an obligation to make sure paying customers can be processed and got into the arena before the start time? Surely they must respond to repeated long queues of walk-ups by providing sufficient staff to do the job efficiently? And surely there must be some comeback from the club's side if games repeatedly have to be delayed because the box office can't handle the queues? Looks like penny-pinching by the arena to me.

I really felt this was the best game iv seen in a while, loved every second of it. Shame we didnt get the result but lets face it that one extra point isnt going to make that much difference in the long run I dont think and a 3point weekend is acceptable.
Great to see Campbell punished for all the digs hes had at us this season, man what a pasting!! And just for those who want to know what a quality enforcer looks like, Ryan went on to set up the first goal and had a big hand in the 2nd after teaching Campbell a lesson.
Good to see Tony Hand Bench Campbell for the period for throwing a punch when the lineys stepped in aswell

Was my mum's second game - first being the 3-0 anniversary loss to Hull. She loved it! That's the kind of game that new fans need to be taken to - it had all the stuff that good hockey matches should - two great fights and some great goals.

The game was good because ZT went out the window. I hate ZT anyway but seeing a good entertaining flowing game made me realise ZT sucks even worse than I thought it did.
Even though we didn't get the win it really was a great game for any newbies to come along and see.

the whole point of ZT is to make games more free flowing, its the players not sticking to the rules which cause the penalties to interupt the flow.
good game, great to see Clarky get a hat trick and good to see Campbell get a hiding, thought it was very cheap how he threw a punch whilst Shmyr was taking his helmet off and as the linos were splitting them, entertaining fella but not a great professional. good to see Moran drop the gloves aswell, seems to be all hes good for at the minute. generally thought we was unlucky not to win but altogether an entertaing game.
Shmyr, three points in two games, eleven points this season which considering hes our enforcer (and does that job so well) and played a good portion of it in d thats not bad at all. imo hes an extremely valuable member of our roster and definately should be earmarked for next season. the best enforcer ive seen in a Panthers shirt, yes Barry intimidated more and Craighead put more points on the board but Shmyr fights when its good for the team, intimidates in a clever way avoiding taking silly penalties, is useful on PP and PK, posts a decent amount of points, can play in more than one position and generally puts in the effort and is a team player. i think this bloke should be on the award list at the end of the season without doubt.
agree Ian i thougt the exact same thing when it was announced, seven is when the puck should be dropped, its never any different on a saturday so why shouldnt people just arrive on time, same applies to the box office, they know what time it starts.

Absolutely spot on. One of the first re-signs in my opinion. Does his job to perfection and has made useful contributions elsewhere.
