I asked the question as a matter of interest, as you seem to be in the know with most things and you seem to be the main guy on the forum. Hardly! On both counts... No, you weren't getting what you probably consider a 'proper' answer because your question, such as it was anyway, was slanted towards your worship of one Bradley Voth Esquire. No doubt any answer not bowing down before the altar to The Saviour Of The Devils would have been dismissed anyway... Wrong your answer wouldnt have been dismissed at all im not that blinkered as you try to make out, as i said it was a genuine question But back onto the main subject - that being the return of Gui Lepine, for those not paying attention and/or situated in Cardiff - this isn't the one single answer to all of our ills. In fact, the signings of Lepine and Stewart together probably aren't... but they're both a good step forward, and all we can do is wait and see what happens. Personally, I'm going to sit back in my seat and watch the both of them and hope that either or both dish out a few absolutely stonking clean open-ice hits next week. As we have seen Gui (that's Mr Lepine to all you outside of Nottingham! ) do before. Preferably hard enough and often enough that opposition players get renamed something else when they come to the NIC... "roadkill"! ;D If you read a few of your fans posts they seem to think that lepine/stewart are the answer and even naming some players they feel should be gassed , with regards to open ice hits you have lepine we have max, so it should be an interesting evening me thinks

A superb signing and one I've been hoping for since April. Is he the answer to all of our problems? No. Is he a solid d-man who also adds something to the team we don't currently have? Yes, very much so.
This season just got a hell of a lot better in my eyes!

We should all bombard mr Didiomete that a certain mr Lepine is gonna get him!
Let him have a bit of the banter he likes to give out but not so keen to receive.

Very good news. Think there'll be a bit of noise on Tuesday when the players skate out... first of all welcoming Stewart, and then the welcome back to The Lepinator! Oh, please let's see a repeat:-

Hopefully Tuma will be moved on, I'm sure he'd be ok in a team like Edinburgh or Dundee but he is not really the quality we need here in Nottingham, if we are serious about winning the league.

Lep will surely be covering for Coreys injury, which will mean we are still short on D with missing Weaver. That being the case should we be resting/cutting another Dman at this time, .... unless Fox is going to play D to replace Tuma, and Leves covers Weavers D role?

I'd rather play Fox in defence than have Tuma on the ice.

As much as people want to gas Tuma, surely with Lepine only just arriving it makes sense to drop a forward. Even if Lepine was up to speed, I think you are better off playing people in their favoured positions, i.e. Fox really needs to be playing as centre. We may also be able to have Norton icing on Tuesday.

I'd rather play Fox in defence than have Tuma on the ice. why are you so against tuma? In my opinion we could get a much better defence man. He's slow, 'appears' overweight, took stupid penalties last week against Sheffield and Belfast the week prior. I assume you're a big fan?

Would not say big fan, he is by far no means slow, he lil steady getting going but soon gets a shift on. I agree with you on the stupid penaltys but he is not crap! He moves the puck well & hangs on to it to make the right pass! Give him a chance he has a great cv let the lad come good Are you watching the same Tuma Barthez? He is absolute tosh! I know its your personal opinion but i just don't get why people defend him, he's obviously a poor player.

I'll be happy to see the back of Tuma, hopefully sooner rather than later. It looked as though he was skating in treacle last night!

Tuma is not crap I just think people should give him a chance! He plays the puck well yes he is a little slow setting off, he does not panic on the puck, he does take a few daft penalties but give him time & a chance!!

I would take Tuma over Wilson any day. I think people have jumped all over Tuma because he picked up a groin in his first game, they saw his big frame and assumed he was fat. Players of his build are never going to look quick, if he is allowed to hang around, I think he will get most people on his side. If he was as poor as some people are saying, then surely as part of an understrength D last night, we would have conceded more than one.
