honestly cant say if they had words or it was for a previous incident but ant remember anything happening to give zarb a reason to do what he did, and the slash i think anyone would have done it and it was low the slash and two handed i think, a 2+2 tops, but it still makes me wonder why carson called the slash even though he witnessed why jono slashed him. zarb did go out of his way to get jono he must have they wernt actually that close to the play or that close to each other and it could have been avoided. maybe the fight was the end of it maybe it isnt who knows, all i think is that zarb is pretty lucky to get the same as what phillips did Phillips deserved the 5+Game for the slash!! was 2 handed again missed my point, not saying that jono didnt deserve the 5 or even a penalty but surly not the same as zarb

Personally I think the slash deserved a 2+10. Not that it matters that he got a game misconduct. Not like he was going to be finishing the game anyway. My view on the slash was that it was 2 handed but it only got the skate/skate blade, it was very low and seemed to be to make a point that he wasnt happy about the hit and was mouthing at him while doing so. It wasnt a wild hit to take Zarb down. I have seen much worse. Dont think I have seen anyone call for Zarb to be suspended which is good. Stephenson stepped in and fought him and overall he probably won the fight. The matter was settled on the ice IMO. If King and Co want to have a word next time we play Dundee I am all for that. Spice it up a bit I feel for Jono, especially after it happening twice in 12 months but these things happen in sports. summed up pretty well tbh

i see English is taught as a second language given the poor spelling and grammer coming from a certain section of sheffield fans...

That would have worked better had you started your sentence with a capital letter...

......its sounding more and more like steeltalk on here now If you can just point out where the moderators with ulterior motives have banned people or closed threads that are critical of the Panthers I may be mote inclined to agree. If you mean though in respect of folk taking issue with lazy posters who seemingly can't be bothered to use capital letters or who bulk out their posts with 'lol' every few words (are you really sat there at home 'laughing out loud'?) then you may have a point. It's really not that difficult to use caps in order to capitalise letters, even Yorkshire-dwellers are capable of it, as displayed by the many eloquent posts penned by your fellow fans.

Hmmmm, yea it does, makes for easier reading Also it helps people take you point more seriously.... as for the incident, you cant say Jono didnt deserve the same penalty as ZArb, if a the ref decided Jonos slash was bad enough he is well within his rights to hand of 5+game.

its sounding more and more like steeltalk on here now Is it now? Hmmm.... I must have missed a massive increase in the number of threads locked, posts deleted, warnings handed out, members banned, referees posting, propaganda from club officials, and the use of the colour orange. If you don't like it here, you're free to go back there...

Voth goes out to injure people? Give it a rest! He's an old-time player that people don't know how to handle because of his size. erm no why would i give it a rest, he deserves his ass handing to him and im happy he has decided to give it another year before he retires cos hes someone that doesnt deserve to be able to call time on his own careerAre you serious? Now I don't care much for what this thread has descended into, but I have to take issue with this statement. You would prefer it if Voth's career was ended by a significant injury?! That's just plain childish and quite frankly stupid. Come on we as fans are better than that.

The hit is at 1:13 of the highlights vid.
Doesn't look intentional, a bit reckless as he couldn't fully make the hit and didn't even have to as the play had moved on so deserved what he got but no more

I think there's been a bit of an over-reaction to be honest.
I took it as banter and it made me chuckle, so I responded in kind on the same thread.
EDIT TO ADD: It seems the original comments on the Steeltalk thread have been deleted.

Glad it was removed. Saw the video, not intentional, it was so bad that he picked himself up and had a slash at him. Not that that was captured on the shot.

Hardly intentional looking at that, tbh it looks like jono made it worse by doing that little twirl like a ballerina before he hits the floor.

Looking at that video it bewilds me how the richest team in the league cannot devise a panthers TV consisting of match highlights and post game interviews, instead we get crappy radio interviews by GM who doesnt even plan what he is going to say..

I have to hold my hands up to creating another bout of dictatorship on the Squeelerbleat - all I did was comment on what I thought was an inapropriate post, (and a slight dig at the Shuff defence) - my post gets deteted along with the original and I get a warning - forgot just how touchy they are up rord

JD - think you may be commenting on the wrong quotes - the above refer to Squeelerbleat not liking a bit of banter

With the scuffles I couldn't see any decisive winner. I'm quite looking forward to playing Sheffield this year.

From a media perspective the Panthers come way below a majority of the other elite league teams.

From a media perspective the Panthers come way below a majority of the other elite league teams. But financial stability wise most (all) other teams come below Panthers. Yes it could be argued that setting up a 'Panthers TV' type affair wouldn't cost much but would it eat into DVD profits?
