I dont usually make threads about things like this but i thought it was disgusting the fight that broke out at the top of 15 after we had won...full on brawl with some obviously drunk blokes...we're all Panthers fans why were we fighting! Some small children were crying when it was going on..well done on those who spoilt they're day! We'd just won the play offs what was the need

I was right down at rink level so didn't see anything. It's a shame if true though.
On the whole fans of all clubs were brilliant all weekend.

I wondered what had gone off as there was a girl who came and stood on the stairs near us halfway down block 16 and she was shaking. She looked absolutely petrified, now I know why!

I was sat about 6 rows in front of it. Some idiots in fancy dress were involved. The main culprit/ bell e#d was some 50ish year old who totally lost the plot. Safe to say he was mullered. By the way he sits in Block 9 at home games

There wasn't a fight the drunk man attack the other panthers fan and he wasn't mullered by anyone. If anyone saw the incident please pm me.

I heard about this didn't see it thankfully.
I had an idiot from Belfast near me who was spoiling for a fight on Sunday, tried to wind me up but I didn't bite, in the end someone from, I think, Breahead had a go back and yellow coats came rushing up.
The guy was being a tit all weekend.

I was sat at the back of 15 and unfortunately what Higgy says is true. I didn't see what kicked it all off, but the chap Jayc refers to seemed to be several rows forward of where he'd been sitting, so I dunno if someone had helped him get there or what.
Ugly and sad, as Higgy says we'd just won the flippin playoffs.

What an absolute shame. Lets hope this is a one off and we're not heading into a football culture.

Ironic thing was the idiot in question was in fancy dress wearing a convicts suit - he'd lost the plot, eyes bulging and giving someone the 'cut-throat' sign. Seriously mate they serve soft drinks too you know

I was sitting a few rows in front of the incident and became aware of it when fans overbalanced into the rows in front of them. I don't know what sparked it off but it clearly involved one of the men dressed as a convict. It was an appalling and shameful display and, for me, it spoiled the very moment we should have been at our happiest because we were having to watch our backs rather than the on-ice celebrations. I shall be contacting both the Chairman and Chief Executive of the NIC and would suggest that anyone else who was witness to this display do the same

He should be identified and banned for x amount of seasons. The NIC/Panthers/EIHL should make an example of him.

This won’t happen unless people come forward with any witness statements and identify who the drunken fool is. The Panthers, NIC and the Police are aware of this incident.

I'd imagine the NIC would be able to identify him from ticket sales info.
They usually take name, address, phone number, shoe size etc. when selling match night tickets. Also if his ticket was bought early using his season ticket they should have his information through that too.
Failing that (if they consider it worth the time and effort), they could look over some CCTV from a season ticket game and see if they can find him in his usual seat on that.

Maybe he was actually a convict and on day release to watch the game...

He should be banned, ima contact the NIC about it and would suggest others do the same. It's bad enough you can't watch football without this going on.
