City it seems are holding out on Dzeko in the hope Wolfsburg drop to €30m. Makes me wonder if they'll make a move for Mirko Vucinic.
Meanwhile there is talk that Liverpool are actively trying to sell Torres and Gerrard.

Gyan would be the next EL Hadji Douf. Fabiano could go either way, hard to say. Could end up like Robinho though (not very effective in the PL). Schweinstiger would do well. Big lad, the physical PL would be fine for him. Wouldn't mind seeing Honda given a bash, think he would be the next big thing. I toyed with putting Honda, but though you would all laugh. Looks a good player and the Asians have the discipline to do well in the Prem.

Whilst I agree with both articles, didn't you say the other day that 4-5-1 wouldn't work, and Rooney was crap on his own up front?

Bravery --
Hart
GJ Cahill/Lescott Dawson Cole
Hargreaves/Rodwell/Parker Carrick/Huddlestone/Barry
Adam Johnson/Young Walcott/Lennon/Agbonlahor/Millner
Rooney
Leaves one other player. Depends on formation. Could be 4/2/3/1 or 4/3/2/1. could have Rooney as the #10 behing the striker, could have Rooney as the striker with someone else as #10 or could play Xmas Tree formation so you have a 3rd deep midfielder.

Fergie has spoken with Inter about Super Mario Balotelli. No comment ;D Don't know why Fergie is looking at him? He needs a proven striker. Hernandez looks good as backup.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how much the team changes, if at all, when it comes to the first qualifier for 2012.

Ramos is nothing special as a RB or CB. Bombs forward well and then fails to put in a decent cross. Few thoughts -
Kolorov - £18m is steep but City are most likely to pay it. Jose is looking to buy a defender or two.
Luiz - £30m would leave only Real again in the bidding. The guy is classy and perfect foil for Boateng in central defence.
Balotelli – Could be a bargain even at £30m. Absolutely made for the EPL. Powerful, athletic, can play anywhere along the front 3. I think City will outbid Man U if they want him. Inter are happy to sell because of his baggage.
Millner – way overpriced. £15m player.
Dzeko – City don’t wanna go beyond £25m. Wolfsburg should settle on £32m.
Vucinic – nothing seems to be happening there.
Podolski – I don’t rate him.
Neymar – seems to be Chelsea most likely to get him if anyone. A loan move to West Ham maybe on the cards to toughen him up
Torres – Chelsea lead the race.
Sneijder - Inter will be asking for €50m. Man U are highly inlikely to persuade them to sell. Rafa shall get his spending money from the sales of Balotelli and Maicon (to Real).

TBH I think all the German players are over rated except Swinstiger and Lahm.

Who? In other news, glad to see Jovanovic has kept to his word and signed for us even though he agreed to sign whilst under Rafa. I was hoping that he didn't end up signing for Rafa at Inter. Will be looking forward to seeing what he can do in the Prem. Looks like he is built to play in league. Good signing for us me thinks....

Apparently Sotiris Ninis will sign before Sept for Man U. Man U now in the market for another midfielder.
City offered £32m for Dzeka yesterday. Saying it’s their final offer. Wolfsburg has money though so doesn’t have to sell.
Aston Villa told City they’ll accept a player + cash for Millner. I could see MoN choosing Ireland or some other academy graduate. That’d be a great deal for Villa after their strong season last year.
City do want Balotelli and Dzeka! If Inter sell him then they’ll move for Cavanni or Kuyt. Inter remain faves to get Mascherano. Barca lead about 20 clubs after Ozil. Sneijder would cost £40m so clubs can forgedaboudit.
City rejected £16m bid for Robinho from Besiktas. Another Turkish club had £8.5m bid for Wagner Love rejected unsurprisingly.
Liverpool looking at SWP to replace Yossi for around £5m.
Can’t remember other goss.

I think Villa will swap Milner for SWP, may bundle Ireland in there too, or even Richards. O'Neil likes his British players.
City get linked with everyone just to bump up the price.

The only City targets that I know of are Kolorov, Luiz, MIllner, Balotelli and Dzeka (unless I’m forgetting one). I know the papers here have linked them with other names.
SWP to Villa would make sense. Problem City have is that people like SWP and Bridge are on crazy money. They’ve got themselves in to the same mess that Chelsea did. Roman has at least learned the lesson but City continue to pay silly money to new players. They really need a DoF/GM in place who knows what he’s doing.
Some of Mark Hughes’ buys (Bridge, Lescott, Jo, Toure) are deeply questionable. You could see City quickly field a team with hardly a Hughes signing in it –
Hart, Richards, Boateng, Luiz, Kolorov Yaya, De Jong, Tevez, Silva Dzeko, Balotelli

The team that bid for Love was actually Flamengo. City to meet with Wolfsburg reps this weekend to try to finalise the deal for Dzeko.

Aurelio in talks with Villa.
Chelsea set to test Inter with £36m bid for Sneijder. Signs that his agent might be trying to talk up interest. Chelsea are very active ATM.
City have matched Real's offer for Maicon. Maicon has agreed terms with Real but the two clubs are far apart in terms of a fee. Hence City are now muddying the waters. City also have agreed a fee with CSKA for Krasic. Krasic wants to go to Juve. Similar to Maicon situation. City also are considering Alves for RB if they miss out on Maicon. City could move for Ibrahimovic. They're currently trying to clinch Dzeka though. Ibra and Balotelli can wait. Barca do like Robinho.
Carvalho having a medical at Inter.
Deportivo want Dos Santos on loan
Loads of EPL clubs are in talks with Danny Gosling. Major FU by Everton.
Another Real and City fight - Luiz will hold talks with Real within a few days.
Onuoha could be going to Sunderland or Everton. Fulham have asked about Caicedo. Real Soc about Jo. Bellamy (Spurs), Richards, Garrido, SWP (Liverpool), Robinho, Ireland and Santa Cruz are all available.
City have tried to use Santa as bait for Dzeka. Not sure if that would help reduce the price!! ;^)
