Some of you on here are a bit barking, saying it's not all bad news, it's bloody disgraceful, having to rely on other teams for our position when we cant even beat the bottom of the league team, wake up.

Oh what a supprise . panthers loose a game and its all over season. if belfast win then were not in too much danger and all to play for. my god it makes me laugh. shame on the result bit it happens. bring on sheff. who i fear have hit a bit of form and actually could put an end too our season hopes if christmas goes there way. but imo were certainly not out of it yet. perhaps according to the league table we may not but conceding 5 goals every now and then will not win the league. until panthers employ a coach who is defence minded, forget it. should of kept mike ellis if you like defence. Then again should of kept adey. And if we go and get rid of corey, i bet in a few years the cry will be should of kept corey. The point i'm making is that imo one of the clubs main problems in recent years has been not keeping one coach. You can't solve all problems by just throwing money at them, we need consistacy year on year like coventry and sheffield. Though i do agree that losing games to stingrays when you have players like we do is just not on, And yes the leauge is gone for this year. (saddest bit about this is that if coventry, belfast or sheffield were in our possition i would say that they were well in it, but you can't say that about us because you just know we will throw more games away.)

or employ a goalie coach, a defence coach, an attack coach and a head coach.
but this isnt the show. its a mickey mouse league, and its the best we have got, but things arent going to change.

I won t trust me.
Adey had the makings of a good coach and tactician but obviously couldn t control the dressing room and have no input on player signings if things were to be believed. shame

Can anyone possibly tell me why Nick Toneys isn't deemed good enough for a regular starting spot on the Panthers defence?
I'm no coach but watching the current circus I'm puzzled.

Possibly should have Kept Mike Ellis though................... his downfall was being `one of the boys` if things rumours were led to be true

Possibly should have Kept Mike Ellis though................... It'll be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season if, as is now looking likely, we don't end up with a title. Two of the minor titles wasn't enough for Mike Ellis as Neil Black infamously made clear in the aftermath of the Challenge Cup win. I wonder what if a similar fate awaits Neilson.

If the same stadards still apply then Corey will not save his bacon even with a Challenge cup win this season.

he ll be kept on, panthers are genius`s at making bad decisions. But two years winning nowt is looking a strong possibility, ive tipped devils to win the CC , Blaze to win the league and the PO is a lottery

We lost tonight at Steelers and i am gutted they played there 3rd game in 3 nights, and we couldnt score until 54 mins into the game, but Hull are really bad at the mo, and so you guys and us are playing like s--t, at the moment, dont think you or us will have a big say in the league.

I am not convinced Panthers will win anything this season...based upon current form

gettin rid of ellis was a terrible decission. he should never have gone. i honestly believe that if he had stayed we could well be on our way to a league title by now. he had the bottle to make hard decission's which corey's doesn't seem to have all the time. and he had a good defencive mind which corey also seems to strugle with. plus he brought us two trophies in two years after building a team from scratch nearly! deffinitly one of the worst decssions this club has made recently, i'd take him back in a heartbeat.
well i got that one off my chest

What we need to do is make Paul Thompson on offer he simply cannot refuse and give him a 3 year contract with a brief to win the league within those 3 years.

I'll wait until the interviews with GM appear on the website before I decide who to blame. It probably won't be himself or his best mate Corey ... my guess would be their goalie had the best game of his life and a few of our players were ill.

The Mike Ellis sides I saw were virtual carbon copies of this one, couldn't defend for poo poo. It's been the same for years. Ellis was no loss.

It would have to be Mega-Dollar to prize him away from the Skydome. I don't think NB would even think about offering that sort of deal.
