4-4 laser from Roy! More great work from Nieminen

4-3 Clan, terrible defence on our own blue line

2-2, we simply don’t look after the puck well enough

1-1, good work on our goal from the face-off, then a defensive turnover and nice finish for them. Masters of our own downfall with their goal

Looking at the remaining fixtures I feel we’re in must win territory now. Hopefully the boys can pick it up after yesterdays flat performance

Anderson back but Neill out. At least that should improve the goals against then,as once again last night Neill was on the ice for another 4 goals conceded. Could have been worse but he was in the pen box for one of the others. He’s currently sitting comfortably near the very top of the worst plus/minus stats in the whole league with a shocking minus 20. Still behind a league leading Lemay though who has a mind numbingly bad minus 25. 🙄 I have to agree with you, of late I’ve noticed he’s been a bit suspect defensively, Cardiff’s 3rd goal yesterday was prime example. Neill tried to keep the puck towards the corner behind the goal then Cardiffs forecheck forced him to turnover the puck and it’s a quick goal to make it 3-1. He does play a lot of minutes though, in all situations, so it could be taking it’s toll

In fairness you guys got fairly destroyed tonight, you were never really a threat to us and were totally outplayed. Devils were on their game tonight and Panthers were always second best. Good turnout by Panthers fans and hopefully everyone gets home safe, it was a good physical game and very entertaining. Very gracious of you

6 2 loss. Looked quite a bit better in the 3rd before the 6th. Had we been more clinical in that time it could've got interesting. Otherwise a non contest. Still, nobody really expected anything from this one. On to the big one tomorrow. Think we may need 6 points from the next 3 games. Glasgow, Fife, Dundee. Thats followed by Sheffield, Sheffield, Cardiff. Agree with all of this, next 3 or pivotal now. Rok has to play like a man possessed

We’ve been dreadful so far. Apart from the goal, we have created virtually nothing, even the goal was fortuitous

Has anyone heard anything about when Adam's shirt retirement will be? The club seems very quiet on this. I would have thought that the final league home game against Storm would be a good opportunity as they were the ones who gave their time for the memorial game and it would be fitting if they were to participate in the ceremony. I’m wondering if they’re wanting to wait for his family to come over, it’s a difficult one though but I agree it would be brilliant if all the players could be there to see it

Cracking game yesterday, really enjoyed the night. I thought Guildford were all over us during the 2nd period, reflected by our very low shot count, but we were clinical with the chances we forced, some great goals from Luciani, Henbrant and Nieminen.
It was like watching a different team from the away game in Guildford to the home game yesterday. We had our tails up and we didn’t back down against a very chippy Guildford side. Loved Caruso’s hit on Crinella and Paré going at it with Locke.
It was good to see Welsh back to, I’d forgotten how hard he works around their net and the amount of battles he wins, really pleased with how he played. Hopefully Anderson isn’t badly hurt, I winced as he crashed into the boards. Need all the bodies when can get at this stage.

One of our games in hand. I’m calling it must win. I know mathematically it isn’t, but a team placed at the bottom of the league can’t just flick a switch to win 5,6,7 games in a row. So if that becomes what’s needed to qualify for the end of season then we’ll find it really difficult. Need to win these games in hand therefore. Hopefully we come out flying. Would be great to have Michaud and Welsh/ Ollie back! So who you going drop when those three come back ? The way people talk and make excuses about playing short anybody would think they’ve been icing 15 or 16 players recently. They haven’t,it’s just another excuse ! Michaud has been a pivotal player for us lately, missing one of your most influential players, when the pressure is on like it is now, is a big loss

I still don’t think we’re out of it. The last two fixtures weren’t easy ones on paper but it was still disappointing, especially considering we’ve a full mid week to prepare.
One frustration for me is the fact that we don’t stay in games, we concede goals in quick succession or go chasing games and they get away from us. Staying in a game and picking up a point is an ok result, but it has very rarely happened for us this season.
From the next 3 games we need to be aiming for 4 points and we must beat Glasgow. Praying for some returnees as well and that Stojanovic can find some form

Glad we’ve not been shutout. If we’re not going to have any players back from injury for Wednesday then I’d like to see Lemay playing on the top line, absolutely wasted on the line he’s on right now Something needs to change but Im not sure i'd break up the top line. Perhaps have Lemay centre Luciani and Lunsjo. Pare with Anderson and Henbrant wouldn't look to bad. You’d assume that when Michaud returns we’ll see Lunsjö, Michaud, Neilson continue together. If that’s going to be the case then moving Lemay to the top line now makes most sense

Tetlow wasn’t at fault or on the ice for any of their goals, so I don’t see why he would have been benched for his performance. Fingers crossed we are back to full strength soon, at that point though the coaches need to make a decision as to which Brit we will sit out.

Dissapointed to come away with nothing tonight but we were very flat up until the 3rd, we managed to drag ourselves back into the game but I do think our short bench and the match ups worked against us, but massive credit to the team. It was always going to be difficult extending our win streak over them to 4 in a row.
Hopefully we can salvage something from Guildford, it will be difficult though

Disappointing to hear about a couple of Belfast fans goading the Coventry bench this weekend. I’m sure the majority of Belfast fans have been left angry at what has occurred, it’s a shame that the SSE staff couldn’t get down to prevent it from happening

Decent crowd already for tomorrow nights game, hopefully we can keep up the good form. Big following from Cardiff as well, I’m sure their players will be desperate to come away from the NIC with something.
Last time out we struggled with their shots from the point and the heavy traffic in front, but we did expose their lack of speed on defence. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out

I’ve just found out that Sheffield will have to play their home 1/4 final leg at Ice Sheffield as Take That are playing at the arena on both Sat 13th and Sun 14th April. I bet they’re dissapointed with that Could be a Monday game like that Belfast tie we had a few years back Every possibility tbh, depends how big a factor they view the arena and how confident they are in themselves

I got very confused when you ask one question in the title and another in the poll. I was astounded to see so many people thought the season was over! As it stands, I think we can and probably do scrape in, unfortunately I think we come 8th and face you know who. You have to believe we can make it. We’re not going to win every game, I’m sure there’s going to be a few more twisted and turns, but I believe
