Decent crowd already for tomorrow nights game, hopefully we can keep up the good form. Big following from Cardiff as well, I’m sure their players will be desperate to come away from the NIC with something.
Last time out we struggled with their shots from the point and the heavy traffic in front, but we did expose their lack of speed on defence. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out
2 points of any description would be very welcome.

That 1st period so sloppy from Panthers. So many sloppy passes and poor stick handling. 2 goals for Cardiff on a plate. They have done anything really apart from accept 2 gifts. One a powerplay with Caruso taking the penalty…Again.
A little bit gutting that one. That GWG was real frustrating. Hate to see a player allowed to skate all the way in on the goalie like that. Has to be put on his backside.

Ryczek at fault for that one. He had a really poor game throughout. Thought we were going to pull off one of the most ill deserved wins ever when we equalised. We were so poor we shouldn’t have been in it. Cardiff managed to better just by being mediocre. If we play like that against a team on form we’d get battered. Played like they’d never met before
Frustrating result,I felt we were poor first period especially, could barely string 2 passes together and looked very disjointed.
Got better in the 2nd but didn't create much then in the 3rd Bowns gifted us a goal to get us back into it. Henbrant scored a cracker to tie it and looked like only one winner at that point.
Then a poor 3rd goal and that was it really.
We didn't look like the team of the previous few weeks at home, hopefully we won't play like that tomorrow.
Credit to Cardiff, they clearly worked on playing a different game against us and they executed really well. They were quicker back without over commiting going forward and negated our rush.
Bowns wasn't all that. In fact I think he was quite lucky. He did make some top saves, but he was also dropping a lot.
I think our biggest problem came from the coaches. I think Parades borrowed Coreys random line generator and applied it to the D. This is the problem with rolling 7 D. It may also be why we started to look better, as I noticed Tetlow all but benched from half way through the 2nd. Caruso and Neil stayed together, the other 5 were on with anybody, even having to go from left to right on different shifts. That cant be helpful. If we are going to continue short on forwards then somebody needs to take one for the team and go grind on the 4th line.
Only followed along on Flashscores, so can't comment on how they played. Looked like it was happening again when Henbrant scored. Shame for that winning run against Cardiff to end, they were bound to beat us again at some point though.

Felt we were a little unlucky not to get something from tonight. Neither side threatened much in the first two, we gifted them two soft goals. Storming middle of the third gave us a chance to win, then another avoidable goal. Missing Michaud and Welsh's creativity. The tribute to Dayle Keen could have been handled better.
Dissapointed to come away with nothing tonight but we were very flat up until the 3rd, we managed to drag ourselves back into the game but I do think our short bench and the match ups worked against us, but massive credit to the team. It was always going to be difficult extending our win streak over them to 4 in a row.
Hopefully we can salvage something from Guildford, it will be difficult though
Frustrating game, typical silly penalty by Caruso and they score and 30 seconds later a second from defensive error, apart from that it was pretty even. Cardiff came out hard, which was expected as they lost here last time and got beat the night before. A flattish 2 period, but the third we came and really took the game to them and got level and with a bit more pressure could’ve gone ahead. And then let them skate in unheeded for the gwg.
One thing was it was typical pering performance and with Sewell was like having the chuckle brothers in charge.
Tetlow wasn’t at fault or on the ice for any of their goals, so I don’t see why he would have been benched for his performance. Fingers crossed we are back to full strength soon, at that point though the coaches need to make a decision as to which Brit we will sit out.
A shame really, we were very flat for 2 periods and the Devils were notably more physical/ played the body. They pounced when there was a bobbling puck in our D zone and made it hard for us to break out. Clearly had a rocket after last time they played us. Thought we’d done really well to get back into the game, and then the power break absolutely snapped the momentum! I get it’s a money earner in terms of sponsorship, but it is a real gripe of mine. Saps momentum, gives teams effectively 3 time outs, and we were flying when the third one came about. A shame we couldn’t play the body for their winning goal, which was individual skill so fair play, but being a bit more physical could’ve saved us. Not to be. I’m confident that we can go and win in Guildford tonight, hopefully we play fast and physical, and big Felix ruffles some feathers 😂

He was making a few mistakes, but I dont think he was aweful. Perhaps more to do with what I mentioned last night. Playing 7 was messing the D up amd getting them in more trouble than it was worth. I do hope he is retained next season, just no way at the expense of Hazeldine. He is arguably the most important Dman to retain. He's head and shoulders above Tetlow(ability wise) and we arn't likely to pick up another elite Brit Dman from anywhere.
If and when Ollie returns then they do indeed have a tough decision to make. At this point I think i'd be sitting Tetlow and Anderson. I just cannot work Anderson out after 2 years. To watch him on the ice he looks a very good player. Works hard, got good hands and skates well. His stats tell a totally different story though. On the ice for all 4 goals last night. O.K 1 is PP and 1 is ENG but still some going that. He was on the ice for one of the goals for Panthers too. -2 on the night. If not Anderson then Welsh.
