We're 4/5 imports short (thanks!) and have our back-up in.

You only dominated us once you'd taken out 3 of our forwards. We then had to play two periods with 10 imports (5 import forwards). Hey it wasn’t me who said all that,it was Neilson. That’s exactly the sort of crap we’ve had to listen to for years. 🙄 So pleased he’s got the sack. Yeah I know. Does he ever blame himself or his own team? It's always outside factors.

Have you listened to Neilsons post game nterview. 🙄 Our forwards were flying. We dominated them. Their goalie was hot. Fife went to work on the powerplay (eh they scored one) But for a bounce here it would have been a very different score line. Get real man,WE LOST to them AGAIN......thank god you've been sacked you idiot !!!!! You only dominated us once you'd taken out 3 of our forwards. I was behind the Heelis hit so didn't see an elbow. I'll watch out for it on the highlights.
Heelis was winding him up all night. He threw a perfectly fine hit on a Panthers player and Gagnon and another guy had to come steaming in. You won't win games in the penalty box. I can see why Panthers are where they are in the league. After Fife basically playing with 5 forwards, and being knackered in the third, the Panthers just couldn't finish us off.
I expect us to get tanked at Sheffield tomorrow being short and tired.

So do I, when you could check guys shoulder to shoulder with a good check. Not shoving guys in the back, head first into the boards. I guess if you can’t beat them, deplete them! the checks have been poor but surely you can’t see that we are getting called for minors that you aren’t? Example?

Want 6 points this weekend but feel we will get 3. Win at Dundee Loss at Braehead OT Loss at Fife Think Dundee are t he strongest team out of those three myself, they are very fast, are playing well as a team, and have good toughness. Have you watched all 3 play? Dundee won a couple of games against an under-strength Caps playing a back-up goalie. Clan were also playing their backup. Clan and Fife have played competitive games. I think Dundee are the weakest of the 3 teams, but I'm biased as a Fife fan.

I'm pretty sure the dressing rooms are kitted out well before the games are played. Fife had pictures up of theirs before the first semi had been played. So I'm guessing Nottingham kept their usual dressing room and Cardiff had to go to another one.
Nottingham fully deserved the win, Fife just didn't really show up. But if we're going to pretend it's a neutral venue, don't play Panthers songs during the game. There are millions of songs that could be played.

The ref's can't win. Call too many penalties, they're garbage. Don't call any, they're garbage. I thought the ref actually called the game well. He let it flow and the call in OT against Fife he had no choice but to make.
Even Corey said the "refereeing was excellent".

It would have been a 2 minute minor for high sticking so you would have to request a review.

Steelers' new goalie has potential to be a stud. Think I'd have preferred them to sign Killer A stud, seriously? His stats are decent (on a par with Kevin Regan - Fife) but nothing to indicate he's going to be the best in the league at this stage.

The problem I have with the officials in general in the EIHL is that they are far too quick to bin players for minor comings together or niggly things. I don't know about the ref's down south but in Scotland, they seem far too eager to bin players for the minor pushing and shoving you see in front of the goals. All the stupid niggly penalties just interrupt the flow of the game. If they keep it up we're going to end up like football where players are embellishing fouls to get a penalty. PS. His name is Cowan

Would rather our tough guy/nutcase was a forward, hurts us less when Moray bans them. Good on him for raising a fine amount for charity. What is the charity btw, CHAS, I don't know it? It's a Children's Hospice. Fife have raised money for them for years. www.chas.org.uk/

According to the EIHL site, Cardiff's average attendance this season was 1,385. Surely they were running at a loss? Fife's average attendance was 1,632. I imagine a break even for Fife is around 1,100.

You lost me at 'blaze, happily'. More concerned with ways to smuggle food and alcohol in than who I'm going to support tbh. He is Clan fan, not a Panther fan hence why he said happily Blaze. I guess Clan v Fife is like us v Shuff. I'd also say that the Flyers fans are not violent, that's a ridiculous statement. A wee bit, although a lot of them are too quick to believe everything they read online and a few of them are delicate wee souls. I've seen just as bad at Braehead arena, doesn't bother me a jot but others would be heading for the hills!

It never took a "deflection". Kowalski saved it with his pad directly from Roehl's skate, Haines then poked it in with his stick. The puck hitting kwalls pad was the deflection. Hicks called it correct from the wording above (although I thought he was wrong at the time) If the rule posted above wasnt there then what would stop players from throwing it at the goalie and hoping for a rebound? So at what point does the kick become irrelevant? If the puck had come back out further off Kowalski's pads (say into the slot) and a player puts it in, is that chalked off too because of a "deflection" from a kick?

So you ridiculed Fife for using the system/processes in place, but now that the Panthers have used it twice in the past few weeks, it's now Ok? These things are there for a reason, not using them doesn't make a club any better than any other club. Happy New Year all who ridiculed Fife? If the refs did the job on the night properly we wouldnt be in this situation. Loads of people round me saw the Dowd and the Kohn incident, how 3 officials miss it is beyond me. A couple for starters; thecageforum.proboards.com/thread/15448/billy-bagron-banned-4-matchesthecageforum.proboards.com/thread/15390/harvey-bannedAs you say, if the ref's picked these plays up in the first place, there would be no need for the referral's.
