How did Farmer manage to get a 2+10 instigator? Seen some very inconsistent calls on that 'rule' so far this season. Very inconsistent. Even The Farminator would think better of offering Keefe out. It seems enough that he dropped the gloves first. Ridiculous.

Hopefully neither of these 2 will be upgraded to a match penalty. Were they from Friday or Saturdays game?

Cardiffs PP is 26/27%, so we definately need to keep out of the box in that one. Steelers however have a lowly 11%, but have also conceded regularly to a short-handed goal.

From EP, He was Austrias most penalised player with 148PIMS in 2014/15; and this season has played in just 6 of the 20 games played with 0 point production. Injured I presume.
He does bring Steelers some experience, some size up front and for 3 seasons has worn the 'A', so likely some leadership qualities.

Mid-season imports always seem to notch a point or two on debut, so no pressure Kyle. I seem to recall Nikolov getting a goal and 3 assists in his first game. Didn't he fly straight into Glasgow and kit up for the game against Clan?

Zack Fitzgerald (Sheffield Steelers) The Department of Player Safety has suspended Sheffield Steelers defenceman Zack Fitzgerald for two matches.
Fitzgerald was assessed a match penalty for Checking from Behind in Sheffield’s game with Cardiff Devils on Wednesday.
This penalty carries an automatic one-game ban and after a review by DOPS, a further game has been applied for the severity of the incident, so Fitzgerald will be banned for a total of two games. The extra game can be appealed against.
He will miss the following games… Saturday 21st November 2015 – Cardiff Devils v Sheffield Steelers Sunday 22nd November 2015 – Sheffield Steelers v Braehead Clan
Joey Haddad (Cardiff Devils) Cardiff Devils forward Joey Haddad has been suspended for two matches by the Department of Players Safety.
The suspension relates to two separate incidents in their game with Sheffield Steelers on Wednesday.
Haddad was assessed a 2+10 penalty for Checking to the Head.
After a review, DOPS have increased this to a match penalty for Checking to the Head, which carries an automatic one-game ban.
Sheffield also asked DOPS to review an incident for Elbows during the same game and Haddad has now been assessed a match penalty for this, which carries an automatic one-game ban.
Haddad will be banned for the following games… Saturday 21st November 2015 – Cardiff Devils v Sheffield Steelers Sunday 22nd November 2015 – Dundee Stars v Cardiff Devils
Zach Hervato (Cardiff Devils) No action will be taken on Cardiff Devils forward Zach Hervato.
Sheffield Steelers had asked the Department of Player Safety to look an incident for Elbows in their game with Cardiff on Wednesday.
After a review, DOPS have decided no punishment is necessary

Didn't our owner state that we would be going 4 four lines this year .... 9 brits and 13 imports.
It's time the elusive 13th import was signed.

I'm guessing this is the 'Check to the Head' I think it is likely the follow up hit about 1 second later in the game highlights.

Bobcek has already been released by Blaze. Would Blaze have to play an import short? Yea, I would say so.

Blimey is that another one we have asked for? We splashing the cash abit if so, isn't it around 2k for a review? It's over £2k for an appeal I think, a review is £250 which the club get back if the review is successful. I similarly thought the same for a review, but £1000 for an appeal - again with money back if successful.

From eihl os ... Following the games at the weekend, the following incidents are being automatically reviewed by the Elite League Department of Player Safety… Sheffield Steelers #21 Tyler Mosienko match penalty for Spearing v Nottingham Panthers 15.11.15 Coventry Blaze #2 Igor Bobcek 5+game for Checking from Behind v Braehead Clan 15.11.15 There have also been requests for incident reviews on the following players: Sheffield Steelers #28 Zack Fitzgerald for Checking to the Head v Nottingham Panthers 15.11.15 Braehead Clan #16 Chris Bruton for Slashing v Coventry 15.11.15 Checking to the head? Didn't see that.... I'm guessing it is potentially the hit to Ling behind their net. Shortly before Cam/Fitzgerald fight.

A long time since we were last privy to the discussions at the EIHL Board Meetings but this, I think, is a very interesting and enjoyable (less formal) review given by Todd Kelman with Seth Bennett asking the questions. ps. Is anyone else jealous of the fact we don't have a progressive leader at the helm, like TK? www.eliteleague.co.uk/november-board-meeting/

How many imports are each club running with at the moment? Us the least and Devils the most by the looks of it? I believe sheffield have 16 ... Hay was an initial spare, then added Lawrence and pinc as injury cover.
